Roman's POV:
"It is time, gather them, now is the time." I said. She stood. "It will be done, master."
(Time Skip)
Marco's POV:
It had been about a week and there was no sign of Star. Me and Tom were patroling an area in search of Roman. We had split up to cover more ground. I heard an explosion to my side from Tom's direction. I ran over to see him, fists on fire. "Tom." I said. He gestured down to a monster. "I was looking for Roman when this little thing attacked." I looked down to see a monster out cold. Wait, I know this. "This is one of Ludo's old monsters." I said. I looked up to see a full hoard of them attacking, I summoned a lance as I engaged in the fight. Tom took a few out with his fire from distance while I went head on, striking at monsters. The monsters kept coming as we were overwhelmed. These monsters where definitely not under Ludos control.
(Time Skip)
I woke up on a floor seeing chains on my hands, leading to a chain that bolted me to the ground. I looked over to see Tom in a similar set of chains. "What happened?" I asked. "Well, you passed out and I couldn't handle them alone so they beat me, they took us here and chained us." He said. "Well, how do we get out?" I asked. "Don't try, these cuffs get tighter the more you struggle." He said. "I've got it, Try to melt them Tom , you have fire." I said. "Thats the smartest thing you've said all day." He said lighting his hands. He then melted his way thorough the chains. "There we go." He said as he went to my chains an nd started to melt them. "Ok, let's go." I said. We ran down a hallway that lead into a giant room with cages at the walls and a shadowy figure at the center. "Who are you?" I asked. "Oh, I think you know this well." The figure said in a feminine voice. "It's me." The figure said turning to reveal the face of someone I knew all to well.
