Epilouge: You Can't Help

Dipper's POV:
I looked around at the room around me, I see a circle in the center of the room. I then see Wendy rise in the circle. "Wendy." I yelled as I ran towards her. "No." She yelled. She then fell to her knees. "Dipper, how are you here? What's going on? I'm.....aghhh!" She screamed. "Wendy." I said trying to go near her. "No, stay back, I'm just a monster." She said. "Wendy, you're fine, I believe in you. Your not corrupted anymore, we can be a family again." I said. "No, Dipper, you don't understand, my condition, my corruption... it can't be cured.... no one has yet cured corruption. In a few minutes..... I'll be gone again..." She said. "No." I said. I was overcome with emotions and memeries of all the times I had lost her. The circleturned clear to show everyone else outside the fusion. "Look at them, they are safe. Just...." She stopped."Just leave before I hurt you." She said. I then spun around and hugged her. "I'm not letting go this time." I said. "Dipper, stop, please." She said. "Every time, I fail to save you, why can't we have a happy ending?" I asked. "Dipper, don't you see?" She said. "Look outside, look down at them." She gestured to the clear circle that showed everyone celebrating the defeat of Roman. "Your time isn't even close to being over. There's SOO much adventure left in this world. So much for your story to unfold." She said. "But my story ends here. This is it. This is how my story ends Dipper. You have your happy ending out there with them." She said. "And my story ends here with me losing control." She said. The then stood up. "Goodbye Dipper." She said. I then started sinking through the clear part of the circle. "No, I can't leave." I said. She turned as her arm started to corrupt. "It's probably for the best, you won't have to watch this again." She said as the corruption continued up her arm. The fusion then became unstable as I slipped out and Wendy's gem hit the floor beside me. "Dipper!" Mabel said ecstaticly. "Your ok!" Star and Marco said in unison. "Sup." Tom said from the couch he was laying on. I quickly bubbled Wendy's gem. "Your safe now." I said sending it off. "Good to have you back. " I turned as Stevonnie said. "Oh man, what happened when I was out?" I asked. Mabel then lit up. "You won't believe what happened." She said as she started to tell me about the final battle with Roman .
(Time Skip.)
I stood out on the porch alone looking at the stars. Mabel was asleep and Star and Marco were at the Big Dounut. I sighed as I thought about everything that had just happened. "Still thinking about Wendy?" Stevonnie asked. I turned to face them. "Yeah, it's just, I feel like I could have done something. What could I have done?" I asked. "There is nothing you could have done corruption so far has no cure. But I promise, I will heal her when I find a way." They said. "How do you know ?" I asked. "I'm a Crystal Gem." They said. "We always find a way."
