Your story: part 3

After you had joined the band of thieves, you all had become good friends, almost like a family, it was the first time you felt as if you belonged.

At first, you all just stole to survive, but that changed later on, you started to kill people as well as stealing, you had to admit, it was fun. Once you were 15, the seven of you decided it wasn't enough. you starting killing people for money, instead of stealing to survive. You, later on, became assassins. As you reached your late teens, the band of you made a name for yourself's, you were all known as. 'The deadly seven'.

10 years later. year 3983 you were now 19.

"hey Lux, where are Acedia and Vainglory?" you asked as you sat next to her,

"there out on a job" Lux murmured

"but wasn't it my turn today?" you questioned

"it was, but I need you here to help me take care of hubris" Lux stated

"right, how is he by the way?" you asked concerned, you looked over at hubris who was sleeping on the bed breathing heavily.

"not good, he has a very high fever. At this rate, he'll die." Lux said in a monotone voice,

"NO! don't say that! isn't Avaritia out looking for a healer?" you asked as you shoot out of your seat,

"he is but-" Lux was cut off

"hey, can't you see I'm sleeping here" Hubris shakily stated, Lux and I both looked over at him,

"don't talk your to sick" Lux whispered

"I'm sorry" I murmured trying not to look at Hubris' sick state, because i know i wouldn't be able to hold back the tears,

"Ira what are you saying- *cough *cough"

"Hey Hubris! i told you not to talk" Lux shouted, I averted my gaze to hubris and, i watched as he started coughing up blood

"h-hey are you alright?" I asked in a concerned voice

"i-i am not sure how much longer i'll last. please bring the others here, i need to say goodbye" Hubris replied,

"w-w-what d-don't say that you'll be-" you were cut off by Lux standing up as well, and touching you on the shoulder,

"j-just go find Avaritia, Vainglory, and Acedia should be back any minute." Lux whispered trying to hold back sobs, you look at her and notice this.

"r-right, you go get Gula from the kitchen" you say,

"ok" she says as she walks to the next room,

"H-Hubris?" you ask, he only replies with a hum, most likely from lack of energy,

"you can't die until i find Avaritia and bring him back"  you ordered. He opened his eyes and looked up at you,

"o-of course" he agreed quietly with a soft smile, you smiled back and nodded.  You walked over to the front door and turned the handle to open it, when you did you saw Acedia and Vainglory standing before you, they have there usual expressionless face's.

"how long have you been standing there?" you asked hoping they didn't hear,

"long enough" Acedia replied, 

meaning they heard.. you thought,

"since you already know, go inside and see him" you murmured, as you started to walk past them.
