When the day was coming to a close and all of the tears were shed, it was time for Jamia and Mikey to return home. They would be gone for only one night before coming back the next day to discuss the rest of the evidence that Jamia had, so they could plan as a group how to expose the government. The two of them bid Frank and Gerard a safe and nice night, leaving behind the files in case either one of them wanted to look at them. The sun was setting outside by the time they left and Frank gently shut the door, locking it with a sigh. He leaned his forehead against the wood of the door and thought back to the events taken place today, everything he had learned.

He felt betrayed by his mother, but then again, it made sense now, the reason why she always tried to push him and Jamia together any chance she got. She attempted to make them fall in love because she knew it would never happen naturally as it would have if Jamia was his real Match. Little did she know that Frank already knew his Match, falling deeper in love with him with each night that passed. He had not known of that important piece of knowledge either and for once, he did not feel bad for never loving Jamia. It was not his place to, and at least for a little while, she got the love she deserved from the person she was meant to get it from. He learned so much about Jamia today, the way she felt when she truly loved, the secret emotions he never knew about. Some sort of heavy guilt still stayed on his shoulders at the end of it all, but Jamia insisted she had nothing to forgive in the first place when Frank apologized to her.

He appreciated her much more now, especially because he learned that she was the one sending him strange text messages from a separate cell phone, that suddenly made sense now. Mikey vandalized the front of his house just to spite Linda, which he regret deeply now and apologized at once for. Frank forgave him because his mother deserved it.

"Are you okay?" Frank heard Gerard asked softly from behind him. Gerard had been so quiet after everything was revealed, he only asked one question and spoke three more words after that. Despite that, he clung to Frank the entire time, silently weeping and seeking the comfort that Frank willingly gave him.

Frank turned around and his eyes immediately met Gerard's. Gerard was standing there, wringing his hands together with red rimmed eyes, biting into his bottom lip. His hair was disheveled and his skin was paler than usual, face just a little puffy, but he was still so beautiful in Frank's eyes. He always was.

"I'm alright." Frank answered, letting out a deep breath and stepping away from the door. "I'm just having a hard time processing everything we learned. Years passed of just trying to figure things out, and everything was revealed in less than three hours."

"I know." Gerard nodded slowly and slowly stepped towards Frank, his movements careful and hesitant. "It hurt a little more knowing that my little brother is going through the same thing. And now I know why Lindsey felt the way she did . . ." Gerard suddenly stopped before he could reach Frank. His eyes glistened with tears, hazel irises like caramel and olive green marbles from how they shone. The sadness passing across his features could not be ignored, especially when Frank felt a pang in his gut at the sight of it.

"Baby, you know now that it wasn't your fault." Frank closed the distance between them, his hand coming up to rest against Gerard's delicate soft cheek. He ran his hand over his cheek, then tucked his hair behind his ear, sliding his touch down to his neck where he cupped the side of it. His other hand rested on Gerard's hip, his forehead resting lightly on his love's.

"I know." Gerard whispered and melted into Frank. His cold hands rested on Frank's chest, rubbing back in forth in small movements. "She deserved better. But I am glad she at least had Jamia in her life for a little while. She must have felt trapped in her situation. God knows I have too."
