Dear Poetry

Restlessness

My sanity,

Or lack there of,

Keeps me restless at night,

My demons forever awakening as soon as I'm fast asleep,

All night is a battle of tossing and turning,

Restlessly trying to shake these memories from my head,

For once,

Just once, 

All I wanted was a good night's sleep,

Apparently not tonight though.
