SUICIDAL

You say suicide is selfish,

That person isn't thinking that taking their own life will hurt anyone they know,

They think everyone around them would be better off without them,

Much better off,

They feel like a deformity to society,

And you saying "You're just unique",

Doesn't help at all,

Suicide isn't selfish.

I don't understand how taking your own life after years of hurt and agony,

Is selfish.

What I think is selfish is this,

Making someone stay when they just want to leave,

Would you do that in a relationship?

So why do that to someone that's suicidal?

Being selfish is trying to rid someone of the only few things that make them feel better,

You wouldn't do that to anyone else would you?
