{Anthony's Pov}
I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a hospital. I looked to my right and saw Kalel sleeping on the couch. I looked to my left and saw Ian a sleep in a hospital bed with Melanie at his side.
"Morning." Melanie said, sounding exhausted.
"Hey, what happened."
"You got shot in the shoulder and Ian got shot in the side. You both passed out from blood loss. Thankfully Mari heard the gunshots and called the cops before it got too bad, but the guy who shot you got away."
Then Kalel woke up and ran over to me and gently hugged me.
"Hey!"
"Hey are you ok? Mari called me and said you guys got shot!" she said with tears in her eyes.
"Ya I'm fine. When can we get out of here?" I asked as I tried to sit up, but quickly laid back down when pain shot through my arm.
"Take it easy, the doctor said you'll be in for a few days," Kalel said sadly.
Just then Ian woke up.
"Hey what's up man?"
"Hey how are you feeling?"
"Could be better, what happened?"
"I don't know! Some random dude just decided to shoot us! And what really sucks is that the dude got out of custody of the police so we can't know who it was!"
