Next update! Woohoo. I'm doing my best researching the area through blogs, news, images, etc for as much accuracy as possible. Definitely learning a lot but I apologize for any inaccuracies if you noticed them. I'm definitely taking some fictional liberties here and this is why I'll never write non-fiction.

**| North's POV |**

We were finally in Lübeck. It was a major seaport drowning in rich history, starting back when the last Ice Age ended. We were in the oldest part of it, a small island surrounded by the Trave river. I never cared for history but Sang loved it. Her green eyes would always sparkle as she learned what she could about how Lübeck came to be and her excitement had passed onto me. So now, I looked at the city with fondness. Every scene we passed, I had a memory with Sang attached to it.

It was bittersweet. Painful.

Her laughing at a street performance.

Her tugging me along as we looked at historical landmarks.

Her talking away in broken English about her favorite exhibits in the surrounding museums.

Her finding a hurt dog and heartbroken because neither of us were in a position to take him in, though she did wrap his injured leg.

Her wrinkling her cute little nose as I made her try Zwiebelkuchen, which is essentially an onion pie, and as payback, she made me eat a Apfelküchle.

I shivered, just thinking about the German pancake. Luke, and even Sean would love a Apfelküchle. It's fried apple rings covered by pancake dough and then fried. It's usually served with sugar and cinnamon. She loved that shit.

"Oy, there is the fucking market square," Gabe said, saving me from getting lost in all the memories. "Look at all those tents. There has to be a good five hundred people packed in there," Gabe said, his face pressed against the window.

I rolled my eyes and glanced out the window. I looked at all shoppers and tourists surrounding Rathaus, the city hall of Lübeck. I looked at all the women searching for blond hair and big green eyes. I kept trying to see Sang in everyone I saw.

I didn't even know what she looked like now. I could pass right by her on the streets, maybe even nod at her without even realizing it's her. Okay, I wouldn't nod at a stranger, but maybe I would bump into her on accident. I tended to do that a lot on busy sidewalks. The idea of that happening nearly sent me into a panic but then I felt a slight bump against my shoulder. Silas gave me a small smile and I nodded in return.

My brothers were here with me. They came all the way here to help me find some girl I haven't seen in over seven years.

"Just forget it," Victor snapped at Kota as he slammed his laptop shut in irritation. He took his reading glasses off and rubbed at his nose, his eyes squeezed shut. Dark circles darkened underneath his eyes and I knew he didn't get any sleep the whole journey here, not even on the plane. I only knew because I hadn't gotten any sleep either. He was having trouble with something and the whole ride here, Kota and him were hunched over his computer screen trying to work it out.

He finally reached his limit as he tucked away his laptop and went to staring out the window, his eyes distant. He was sitting in front of me, so I couldn't see his hands but I knew he was tapping them. That was what he did whenever he was thinking hard about something.

Owen pulled up to a hotel. Victor had managed to get us the penthouse suite in the middle of the city to act as our home base while we spread out and tried to track her down. The six-story tall building stood strong with its red bricks, and crow-stepped gable design on the rooftop. The double doors were propped open to allow the cool air through. White window panes stood out against the red bricks of the building.
