I walked past my room, glancing in it then continued to walk.

"Wait."

I took a few steps back, looking into my room again.

"Liam?"

He turned around the desk chair to look at me.

"What are you doing in my room?" I couldn't help but let out a giggle.

"I wanted to talk to you. Plus I didn't know where else to go."

I went to walk over to my bed about to sit down when Liam quickly stood up and bear hugged me.

"L-iam wha- are yo-"

"I missed you."

I felt my feet be lifted off the floor as he pick me up.

"Liam put me down!" I wiggled my legs, laughing uncontrollably.

After a couple minutes of begging liam to put me down he did.

"Thank y-"

"Lexi I'm so sorry about what happened the other day. I didn't mean to say what I have said." He said very fast.

"Lia-"

"No I mean it. I shouldn't have said what I have said."

His chocolate brown Brown eyes stared down in to mine.

"It's okay Liam. I'm sorry for what I said too. I take it back saying your scared and all."

"Well I am scared." He said causing me to raise my eyes brows.

His soft hands gently lifted up my chin.

"I'm scared of losing you Lexi."

"Your not going to lose me because I'm right here."

I wrapped my arms around Liam's waist, pressing my face against his shirt which smelled amazing.

"Oh I have something to ask you?" I said lifting my head up, so that I was looking up at him.

"What's that?"

"My dad invited us to go with him and some new soldiers into the woods to practice with them shooting. I was wondering if you wanted to come with us."

"Of course! That sounds like a lot of fun. Hey maybe we will even find some zombies and shoot them down!" He shouted while pretending he had a gun in his hand and was waving it back and forth.

I couldn't stop laughing at him while he pretend to have a gun and make gun noises.

"I would be like take that zombies. Ugh ugh take that." He flopped his arms and legs around in the air.

Then I rembered.

Those eyes.

Those dark green eyes I saw earlier in the woods.

What if that was a vampire?

Lexi why are you scared and stressing your self out about it? I thought to myself.

If it was a vampire how would it have get in, past the wall the surivers built.

There's no way they could.

"Lexi?"

I snapped out of my thoughts when I realized Liam was talking to me.

"You alright?"

"Yeah yeah, I'm good." I gave him a soft smile while looking over at him.

"Okay just making sure." He said before pulling me into a hug.

"Liammm-"

"Lexi you know that your my favorite best friend right?"

"Liam I'm your only best friend." I bursted out laughing.

"True true. I don't have many friends."

We both looked at eachother, then start laughing.

"Well I think we should probably go to bed. Its late and we got to get up early."

I went in my closet pulling out blankets for Liam to sleep on.

"Oh come on, I dont wanna sleep on the floor. It's as hard as a rock." Liam whined as I started to lay out the blankets on the floor.

"Can I sleep with you?"

I turned my head to see Liam looking at me with a puppy face.

"I don't know."

"Please please Lexi."

"Fine, your such a little kid."
