Max POV

As Kade, Olivia, Ellie and I head back to camp, a million thoughts race through my mind. Who is that person who wrote that note? Do we really have super powers? Where are we? And do I really like Ellie? All these thoughts have been running non stop though my head. I just hope that that guy will give us all the answers back at camp...

We get back to camp at about 7.35 leaving only 1 hour and 4 minutes till the campfire. "Ok guys," Olivia says. I roll my eyes. Classic Olivia. Always wanting to control everything. It's so- 

" Max and Ellie you guys go and find a daisy please," Olivia tells us. "Kade and I will get the campfire ready." I lean over to Ellie. "Yeah and totally NOT slack off." Ellie giggles while Olivia glares at us. Ellie and I finally get up, brush the rocks off our clothes, and trudge into the forest.

We've been walking for 10 minutes just talking and enjoying each other's company. "Max!" Olivia yells. "I've found daisies!" I rush over and see Ellie standing in the middle of a sun streaked field clasping the white flowers. "Shot Ellie," I complement her.

Ellie beams at me, showing her little pearly white teeth. Wow. I suddenly stop and look at Ellie. Her wavy waist length blonde hair, her big blue eyes; everything about her is OK.

But Olivia, with her beautiful auburn hair, and her magnificent brown eyes. I love her.

Wait what!?!

Ellie clicks her fingers. "Hello Max. Let's go." I snap back to reality. I try to gain my swag back. "Yeah OK," I say brushing my hands through my hair.

Back at camp

"There you are!" Olivia exclaims. "What took you so long?" Ellie laughs. "Max decided that he wanted to stare at the daisies." Olivia and Ellie laugh. "Umm hello?" Kade says. "Yeah what?" Olivia asks. "It's 8.35,"Kade says after glancing at his watch. "It's almost time." We speedily set the fire up; and at the dot of 8.39 and light match 47. "Okay" I say. "Who's ready for some campfire confessions?"

Suddenly Olivia, Kade, Ellie and I jump back in fright. There's a man in a black suit literally standing in our campfire! What the hell!

"I don't mean to be rude," Kade says. "But who the hell are you?" The man laughs. "Kade Casen. So full of manners like your father." Kade steps back shocked. Wait, how does that man know about Kade's dad? Kade seems to be thinking the same thing. "How do you know my dad?" The man laughs. "He was my co-worker at the Military workshop before the "accident" Kade, your father Matthew." Kade's eyes widen. "It's a shame that he was "accidentally" locked in a room with extremely toxic chemicals." Kade pulls the finger at the creep. Who is he?

"Anyway," the man says, there's a lot of explaining to do. I'd better get started." "OK then." Olivia says angrily. "We don't have all day." So the man starts. "My name is Grayson Newmart and I'm one of the elite designers who created this wonderful place." "Yeah, yeah whatever." Ellie rolls her eyes. "You can't build forests." Olivia face palms herself. "Seriously Ellie? Ever heard of SEEDS?!?"

The man rolls his green eyes. "In good time Miss Cooper I will tell you everything. In good time."
