Manual of Abilities is indeed an awesome book. Madami kaming nalaman dito. Madami akong nadiskubre and I can't wait to know what my real power is.

We discovered a lot and I don't know kung yung iba ay hindi na naisulat pero I find everything in that book amazing.

Napangiti na lamang ako sa mga naisip ko ngayon. Maybe I'm not useless after all. Bumangon na ako ng kama at nagsuot ng tsinelas. Agad akong pumasok ng banyo para maligo.

It's still early in the morning but I'm already preparing. Hindi para pumasok ng school kung hindi para alamin kung anong ability ko. Ngayon namin yun gustong alamin nina Eliana at Yanna sa isang secret hiding place daw. I don't know where is that place basta surprise daw sabi ni Eliana.

I wore jeans and a plain shirt. I also put on my contact lenses to hide the real color of my eyes. Inilugay ko lang ang mahaba kong buhok na medyo magulo dahil kakatapos ko lang itong iblower.

I texted Eliana already and she said she's on her way to our house already. I'm excited and nervous at the same time but its not visible in the way I look. My poker face didn't change. Ewan ko ba. May mali siguro sakin kaya kahit ngumiti man ako, I still look serious. My eyes always look serious.

Ignoring the thought, I went out of my room and made my way down the stairs. Dumiretso ako ng dining area and both mom and dad were there. They're both laughing and making faces. Maybe may kwento na naman si daddy.

Actually, my parents aren't the usual kind na dahil politician at businesswoman ay wala ng time para magbonding at magsaya. We usually spend time together as a family and have picnics and such things.

Nagulat sila ng nakita ako pero ngumiti na ulit sila.

"Join us baby." Sabi ni mom sa akin kaya dumiretso naman ako sa usual seat ko.

"May pasok ba kayo ngayon sweetie?" Tanong ni dad sa akin. I shook my head. "Wala po dad. I'm going out with my friends." Sabi ko habang hinihiwa ang ham sa plato ko.

"Oh, friends baby? Ngayon ko lang ata narinig yan mula sayo ahh. I'm really happy that my baby girl is now growing up and having friends!" Excited nga tignan si mom. I can't blame her, ever since I was a kid I never mentioned having a single friend to them kaya siguro ganito na lang siya kung magreact.

"I wanna meet them. Invite them for dinner some time." Sabi ni dad at ngumiti sa akin. "Sure daddy." Sagot ko nalang. I don't think it's a good idea pero for once, gusto ko din maging mabuting anak sa parents ko. Sana lang wag silang mabigla na I have unusual friends. I forced a smile for my parents. And I successfully made one!

"Oh my baby! Say it's not an illusion but did you really just smile a few moments ago?!" Excited na sabi ni mommy and a little shock registered on her pretty face. Maging si dad ay nagulat din sa akin. I don't usually smile. I look like a badass bitch, but hey I'm really not. Hindi ko lang alam kung ano kasing problema ng mukha ko at parang hirap na hirap kahit ngiti.

Well at least I managed to smile. "Finally, I saw my little girl smile again." Sabi ni dad. "But a correction dad, I'm not little anymore." Sabi ko kay dad and I playfully rolled my eyes. "And she's back to being my bad girl again in a snap." Anunsyo ni dad na nagpatawa naman kay mom. Oh whatever daddy.

"But Amethyst, I want to see you smile often. Oo nga at tanggap na amin ng dad mo na lagi kang poker face pero seeing you smile make us happier. I wanna see you smile sweetie." Seryosong sabi ni mom habang deretso lang na nakatingin sa mga mata ko.

Hindi man sigurado sa isasagot ay pinilit ko muling ngumiti Kay mom. "I will try mom. I will do it for you. I'll be a good daughter to you guys. Gusto kong makabawi." Hindi ko alam kung saan ko nakuha ang mga salitang iyon na kusang lumabas sa bibig ko.
