Numbness

Silence slams through my senses, the loss of darkness blinds my eyes as I stand at the peak of the cliff.

The numbness sinks through the pain that had become the permanent lodger.

Filters of spotted sunlight kiss’s the skin of the eternal night within the now cracked void.

The music of the universe has resounded within the dead stones of the foundations.

It leaves dents as dots that sink into the crumbling denial of exposure to growth.
