You appeared
like a shining star
You brightened up my path
You gave me something
To look forward to
You showed me
That I'm truly not alone
I know the gaps are large
So I may not be the one for you
But that's ok
Because as long as you're happy
I'm happy too
I value our friendship
More than most things
I care about you
More than you could ever know
So just choose who you want
Or no one at all
And I'll be your friend
Forever and always
