Yes there were a few
That weren't about you
But most of my motive
For my formatted emotion
Turned out to simply be
Unmarked letters to you from me
But now that you're gone
Simply moved along
The hole in my heart
Isn't the only mark
For when you up and vanished
My pen was also banished
I said a silent goodbye
Tears locked behind my eye
To not simply just you
But my beloved pen too
