- All we really know about young Sirius is that he was good looking with a bad boy ease that made him attractive to his schoolmates, and he seemed disinterested

-But what if he never really had a choice or option to be in a long term relationship?

-When he was in school war was on the horizon, everybody was picking their sides and laying down their loyalties

Which is pretty much proven by the fact that not one person even considered fighting for him when he was sent to Azkaban without a trial on the word of Dumbledore who said he was the Potter's Secret Keeper. Despite how much everybody knew he loved James. Despite the fact that Hagrid had found him WITH baby Harry, an innocent infant, alone, before Sirius willingly handed the child over instead of attempting to hurt him.

- And its not like they couldn't visit him in Azkaban to hear his side, because Fudge managed to visit in order to give Sirius a copy of the Prophet which is where he saw Peter with Harry. So point is, accepting his guilt as a secret pureblood elitist came easier than not for a lot of people despite everything he had done to fight against it.

-So when he was in school, all of the pureblood elitists saw him as a blood traitor

-and the majority of everyone else saw him as that guy with the famously racist, elitist family

-He was hot because everybody knew he was a rebel but nobody would want to tell their parents that they were dating the eldest Black son

-So he becomes some sort of conquest. Everybody wants to say they spent the night with bad boy Sirius Black, but nobody wants the baggage that comes with sticking around

-And eventually Sirius embraces it because if you're going to make him into a novelty then he's going to do it on his OWN terms

- So he has his one night stands and everybody thinks that it's just because that's how Sirius Black is, always fucking around without the intent of commitment

-Everybody thinks that he's trying to get another notch in his belt when really, Sirius is the one who's constantly being used to add a notch in someone else's belt.
