Chapter 4

"Ready to win the competition tomorrow Luce?"

"I'm more than ready!"

"Already have your outfit picked out?"

"Yep, what about you?"

"Yeah, we all agreed that we'd have matching tuxes just the ties will be different colors."

"I sent them each a color that the tie has to be," Erza stated.

"To match our dresses I'm assuming?"

"Of course."

-Next day-

"Hurry! We need to go!" Levy yelled while I was curling my hair.

"Juvia just needs to put on her dress!"

"Lucy, Natsu's going to be here in five minutes."

"Great!"

"Flame Brain is going to drool I bet."

"I have no doubt about it, he would never expect Bunny Girl to look how she really looks."

The door bell rang loudly throughout the house.

"I guess he's here early..."

"That's fine, I'm done anyways."

A sheet was put in front of my face and my arms were grabbed gently, dragging me forward.

"Is there a reason for this?"

"To surprise Natsu," Levy said.

"Alright. I just realized I'm going to have a lot of explaining to do."

"Why? I heard Natsu ask.

"Once they drop the sheet, you will see."

Juvia let go of my arms, Erza and Levy dropped the sheet, along with Natsu's jaw. Only Natsu did that himself.

Drool trickled down Natsu's jawline. He quickly wiped it up once Erza gave him a napkin.

"Sorry, it's just... wow."

"She's not wearing makeup either," Levy said enthusiastically.

"W-what! But she- and she- WHAT?"

"All the stuff you see me have on everyday is all fake. Stage makeup. The glasses aren't needed either."

"O-okay. Well this was surprising."

"Is that okay?"

"Yeah! Of course. Why did you hide your be- features?" He asked while blushing.

"I didn't want the attention, but I decided that I'd rather have decent attention instead of negative attention."

"I see."

Erza handed me a makeup wipe.

"She'll prove it," Erza said.

"I believe her."

I wiped my face and showed him anyways.

He stepped closer to me and guided his finger across my face.

"N-Natsu?"

"Sorry, I couldn't help myself."

I hooked his arm with mine and we walked out the door.

Before we completely headed out the door I stopped.

"Where's Je-"

"He's going to meet us there," Erza interrupted.
