Scarlet was born with a rare illness, an illness that sometimes kill vampires, intentionally or not, killed or killed themselves. The sickness was bloodlust. She experienced it a few months after she was born. Her eyes would turn black and bite anyone that isn't blood related to her. Her family decided to bring her to the strongest witch; Cecil of the Blood and Bones. Cecil tried her best to cure her without taking out her vampirism. She succeeded, but it left a permanent mark on Scarlet. Not a burn, a scar but it turned her hair blood red and permanently left her eyes ruby red.
