Chapter 36: Over

I woke up in bed with my eyes puffy from all the crying I've done. Mom was knocking on my bedroom door.

"Cassie, baby. Wake up and get ready or you'll be late for school."

"M-om, I'm not feeling well" I spoke with pure weakness. Mom immediately opening the door and check my temperature.

"You don't look so good." She said in concern.

"Can I not come to school today?"

"Yes, you should just rest." She cozily fixed my blanket and went towards the window.

"No Mom! leave it be, please" I stopped her from opening my the window.

"Oh okay. I'll just cook you some soup for you to eat." I nodded and she went out to the kitchen. I turned and saw teddy, it reminded me about him so I pushed it off my bed. "Chace, you asshole"

I was in my bed most of the time just turning and turning. I then heard several beeping on my phone. I took it from under the table.

Pheobe:
Where are you? Are you sick? Call or Text me. X.

I haven't told them yet what happened and that I just wanna let it subside before talking to them. I put the phone back under the bed when I received another text. It's from Amy.

Amy:
Saw Chace with Megan. Did you two break up? Or is he cheating on you? That bastard.

Tears were falling from my eyes again. Can't he just disappear? I got up and turned it off, then shove it in my drawer.

I was awoken by a rough knock on my door. I slowly got up my bed and opened it. A furious looking Maggie, Amy, and Pheobe were at the door.

"You have so much explaining to do" they led me back inside the room. We all sat down the bed.

"You look like shit!" Amy touching my hair.

"Thanks" I sarcastically said, laying back to bed but was stopped for Pheobe pulled me back.

"What happened?" Pheobe asks

"Is it true?" Maggie asks

"Did you two really broke up?" Amy asks

"Cassie!" They all said in unison. I simply nodded. "WHAT!?" They said once again.

"Chace and I are over, done, finish, end, fin and period." Covering my face with my pillow.

"What?" Now their voice was on the sad tone.

"The old Cassie would've punched me already." I mumble under the pillow.

"Maybe you're right but did you forget she also told me, no all of us that It's just a stupid boy that there are other fish in the sea." Maggie said as she took my pillow off, giving a comforting smile.

"And don't forget those shirtless merman." Amy added that it made us all laugh.

"Yeah!" Pheobe high fiving Amy. "Absolutely!"

"That is much better looking than that Chace Wayne." Amy brushing him off.

"We should have not pushed you towards him, we should've learned." Pheobe with her apologetic eyes.

"We promise to help you out getting revenge on that Chace to the ground." Amy hugging me.

"Yeah, but nothing illegal." Maggie hugging in too.

"Maybe just a little." Pheobe inching her thumb before joining in.

"Thank you so much guys" I hugged them all. "I love you all"

"We love you too." They all said in unison before we all giggled out.

"So for plan A!" Amy leaning back breaking the hug.

"What is it you're thinking?" I ask.

"Duh! Makeover!" She stood up taking her bag then her phone. "I'm calling George, Let's make him regret his decision." Winking

"You can be a genius in this kind of situation Amy." Maggie said smirking.

"Shut up!" Amy throwing her bag at Maggie.

"I don't have any money for that." I said sloppily back in bed.

"Don't be silly!" Amy said while on the phone. "Pheobe will pay."

"Yeah, why not take Daddy's credit card for a swipe." Wagging her wallet on her hand.

"Really?" I ask her

"Of course! What are best friends for." She nodded.

"Thank you so much girls, I don't know what I have done if you are all not around." I started to tear up.

"Don't be a drama queen that's my theme, and you were there when we were in this position. We awe you this." Amy wiping my tears off.

"Awwwwww. Get all in" spreading my arms for a hug.

"Can you at least take a shower first, sorry but you stink." Amy pinching her nose closed.

"Shut up!" I took them all in my arms. I love them all, crazy as they are but they are my best friends.
