It Started With An Emerald (Knux)

Your POV-
"Huh. Wha- where am I?" I say to myself as look up to see I'm in a forest. "What the?" I question. I get up to view my surroundings, now remembering I was stolen by Eggman and was probably dropped somewhere. "That Egghead!" I say to myself.

I check my watch that Tails had given me in case I ever got lost, it was malfunctioning. "Great, it's broken now. Why didn't I listen to Tails?" I ask myself. I start waking deeper into the woods, not knowing where else to go.

"What the hell is that!? Eh, probably just some useless ancient ruin or something, it doesn't matter." I say viewing a large shrine in the distance. "Hey, this one actually looks a little interesting, maybe I will check it out."

I then walk towards the shrine, walking up the long steps, noticing a red echidna resting on a large emerald. "Cool looking," I say under my breath. I walk towards the bright green gem, almost touching it.

"Huh. HEY! Don't touch that!" Shouts the echidna as he pulls my hand off the emerald. He then jumps in a fighting stance.

"Hey man, I don't want no trouble! All I wanted to do was touch it!" I say defensively.
He then takes a closer look at me, noticing something. What I noticed was that he looked to have a very light blush.

"W-well, uh, just don't touch it, okay. Sorry for uh trying to fight you." He says now less angry.

"Hey what's your name?" I ask him.

"Huh, oh Knuc- Wait. Why do you need to know?!" He asks now defensively.

"Man, I'm just lost, okay? I ended up here when some Egghead dropped me here." I explained.

"You know Eggman? You must know Sonic, then!" He almost questions.

"Uh yeah, I live with them." I reply.

"Oh, well, I'm Knuckles, you?" He introduces.

"I'm (Y/N) the (A/T)!" I tell him. "I see you are all here alone. How long you been here?" I ask.

"Well, certainly l-longer than I remember." He responds.

"Yikes! I'd hate to be alone all the time. You know what! I'm going to stay here to keep you company until the others find me!" I offer.

"Wha- no! I don't mind being alone here all the time." He quickly responds trying to shut me down. He wasn't gonna stop me from trying to help him, I was staying.

"Nope! I'm going to stay! I could get to know you!" I suggest.

"Ugh, fine. But be quiet, I like it peaceful." He finally agrees.

"What! But I love being loud! But I guess, I'll try to be quiet." I say.

~A couple hours pass~

"OH MY GAAAAD! It's so boring! How do you do this all day!" I shout.

"Hey! You said you'd keep it down." He quickly replies.

"I know how to make at least a little bit more interesting." I say in a quiet voice.

"And what do you mean by that?" He says.

"Like this," I say as I drop a little peck on his lips. I pull away to see his muzzle about as red as him. "Oh look. Sonic and gang have finally checked this place! I can leave now! Not that I didn't like here." I say as I walk down the large amount of stairs. "Bye, Red!"
