A continuation absolutely no one asked for. Yeah... This story is a continuation of 'Because... No Means No'. Go read that one first.
Taro Yamada x Oka Ruto:
It had been nearly a month, and Taro hadn't forgotten Oka. He missed her every second. He couldn't sleep at night. She had disappeared off the face of the Earth it seemed. Taro had called the police, but they hadn't found anything. Osana had watched him break down every time he walked past the occult club, as he remembered her. He thought she was dead. Osana had began to feel guilty. She knew Ayano was behind Oka's disappearance, but she hadn't said anything to him. She didn't want him to hate her. She knew she would have to tell him at some point, as it seemed he wasn't feeling any better.
"Do you know Ayano Aishi?" Osana asked one lunch. They were sat together, and Taro was emptily staring at the fountain trying not to cry. He looked at her, confused.
"What does that have to do with anything?" He asked, looking back at the fountain. She slapped him, making him turn to look at her.
"This has everything to do with everything." She snapped. He sighed and looked down at his hands, which were rested on his lap.
"I've seen her around once or twice, why?" He muttered sadly. Osana sighed a little and looked around. She couldn't see Ayano anywhere in sight. When she saw Ayano was nowhere in sight, she told Taro her thoughts.
"I think she's behind Oka's disappearance." She murmured. Taro looked at her, shocked. He almost couldn't believe it. "Ayano told me she wanted to get rid of her. I don't know why." Osana said.
"Do you know her address?" Taro asked. Osana shook her head. She and Ayano didn't get along very often, so it was a surprise to no one that Osana didn't know where she lived. He sighed and texted Info-chan. He would go to hers straight away after school. That night, Taro found himself hidden in a bush outside Ayano's house. He had felt someone was following him, and he had been right. He'd gone home, and saw Ayano had been the one following him. He was a little disturbed. He'd been forced to wait an hour before he could travel to hers. Now he could hear the faint sound of crying. He crawled in that direction, hiding in the fading light. He found a small window in the foundation, and peeked through it. Inside he saw something that horrified him. Ayano was using a large knife to draw deep lines in Oka's arms while she cried in pain. Oka was blindfolded, and the blindfold was slightly bloody. Oka was bruised, and covered in cuts and dried blood. He could hear Ayano insult and berate Oka, and her telling Oka that he hated her. He leant against the wall, trying not to cry also. He felt so guilty. She looked like she had been tortured every day for the last month, and he hadn't known. He knew he couldn't go in and save her now, Ayano would probably kill her if he even tried. He would have to wait until Ayano had left the basement.
About midnight that night, Ayano finally left the basement, finally done torturing Oka. Taro peeked through the window and wanted to cry. She looked even worse than when he had first found her. He looked at the window, realising he would be able to fit through it if he could get it open. After a minute, he got it open successfully. He crawled through, remaining silent.
She could hear footsteps in the room. She began to shake.
"No... no more." She murmured sadly. Taro frowned sadly. He walked closer to her, making her whimper in fear. He bend down and pressed his lips gently against hers, silencing her. He pulled off the blindfold, keeping his lips pressed against hers. He pulled back, putting his hand gently against her mouth.
"Shh. I'm here to save you." He told her quietly. She nodded her head, relief filling her. He removed his hand and began to walk to the table set up in one corner of the room. He found a slightly smaller knife to the one he'd seen Ayano use earlier, which was stained with blood. He picked it up and began to cut the ropes tightly holding Oka in her chair. Once every rope was severed, she tried to stand up. Pain shot through her body and she fell forward. Taro caught her before she hit the ground. He lifted her out of the window before crawling out himself and closing it behind him.Once he was outside, he stood up and tried to help her up. She nearly cried out in pain as he stood her up. Taro saw the pain in her eyes, and began to carry her bridal style to the hospital. She looked like she needed urgent medical attention. About a minute away from the house, he finally spoke to her properly.
"I missed you so much." He told her. She blushed and snuggled a little closer to him even though her body ached.
"Taro..." she murmured quietly, her throat sore from crying and screaming in pain. "Will she come back?" She asked. Taro shook his head furiously.
"No. I won't let her anywhere near you. As soon as you're wounds are seen to, we're going straight to the police to turn her in." He told her a little firmly. She nodded her head, resting more on him.A week later, Taro sat in Oka's house with her. She'd just been discharged from the hospital earlier that day, and Taro had insisted on moving in with her to take care of her until she was better. Ayano had broken several of her bones when she had tortured her. The police had been called to the hospital, and she had told them everything she could remember.
"I love you Oka." Taro told her. She frowned and looked away from him. She had been so paranoid about their relationship, fearing the world would tear them apart. "Babe? What's wrong?" He asked, noticing immediately she was sad. She turned to look back at him with small tears forming in her eyes.
"Will we ever be allowed to be happy together?" She asked sadly, blinking out a tear. He gently brushed away her tear, nodding his head.
"Who cares what they think. They don't control our lives. We're not their plastic dolls who's lives can be manipulated by them." He told her. He put his arms around her and gently pulled her closer to him. "They can say no all they want, but they aren't going to destroy our happiness together."
"Thank you." She murmured. She tried to sit up a little and kiss him, but pain shot through her body. He sighed and bent down to kiss her.
"We'll play by our own rules, together."
