Riku Soma x Grace (derederegirl ):
"I'm sorry, it's just not working out between us." Riku told the small girl in front of him with a frown. She nodded her head, blinking back a tear.
"You've fallen for someone else, haven't you?" She asked sadly, looking up at him. He shook his head, but she knew he was lying. "I can see it in your eyes."
"I'm sorry, Cupa." He apologised. She turned and ran away from him before she burst into tears. He watched her leave, feeling a little guilty. They'd only gotten together about a month ago, and he was breaking up with her because he wasn't in love with her."We broke up." Riku sighed to his friend Grace. It was the next day, and they were sat on a bench in the courtyard. Grace sighed and put her arm around his shoulder comfortingly.
"But you guys looked so cute together." She told him. He shrugged his shoulders, looking down at the floor.
"I just don't love her. She's a nice girl, and doesn't deserve to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't want to be with her." He told Grace, frowning slightly as the warning bell for class sounded. "Can you meet me on the roof at the start of lunch today please?" He asked.
"Sure." She shouted to him as they both ran to their separate classrooms for lessons."Why did you want to meet me here?" Grace asked later that day as they met up on the school rooftop. He had a red tinge on his face as he looked at her.
"Grace... the reason I broke up with Cupa isn't because I don't love her. It's because I love you more." He told her as he gently took hold of her hands. She blushed as she held his back.
"I love you too Riku." She told him with a smile. He let go of her hands and put his arms around her, kissing her. She grinned and kissed back. One Year Later:
Grace sat by herself by the west fountain with a frown on her pretty face. It had been a year since Riku had asked her out, and it hadn't been as perfect as she had wanted it to be. He'd broken up with her after a month, saying he didn't know how he felt about her. She'd ultimately become another broken heart in his path. She ignored him as he walked over to her and sat down beside her.
"I'm sorry for what happened between us." He said after a moment. She looked over at him, unsure whether to believe him or not. "I honestly only have one regret in life." He told her, making a small sigh.
"Which is?" She asked hesitantly, looking over at him. He moved his hand so that it was rested on hers. She began to blush, as did he.
"My one regret is breaking up with you."
