Chapter 17

3 weeks later

~ Jade's P.O.V ~

" Happy birthday! " Jake, his family and my siblings all yelled at me and Ruby.

Today we were turning nineteen. Jake, James and Jake's family all decided on throwing us a surprise party.

" Thank you guys " We both smiled happily.

After Ruby and me finished opening our gifts we all headed to the living room.

" Um James, Ruby, can I talk to you two for a moment " I said.
" Sure " James replied.

We all walked out of the living room and into another room.

" What is it? " Ruby asked.
" Lily. She's back " I said.
" WHAT!!!???? " James and Ruby yelled in shock.
" She showed up and me and Jake's ceremony and tried to get me reject Jake, not be Luna and then go with her " I said.
" That.....she is going to pay! " James yelled angrily.
" James relax " Ruby said.
" NO! SHE NEEDS TO PAY. FOR EVERYTHING! " James screamed.
" James please. You need to relax. " I said.

We were trying our hardest to calm James down when Jake, his family and Jake's Delta Iris came running to see what was wrong.

" What's wrong? " Iris yelled.

James suddenly turned to face Iris. They looked each other in the eyes.

" Mate " They both said.
" YES!!! " Me and Ruby yelled while everyone else said " Awwww ".

James pulled Iris into a hug and I saw Iris blushing.

" You guys are so cute " I said.

James kept looking at Iris and Iris kept smiling and blushing.

" You guys are going on a date tonight!! " Me and Ruby squealed happily.
" Iris? Do you want to go on a date with me? " James asked.
" Yes " Iris replied with a smile.
" Iris come with us, we'll help you get ready and Jake you take James. Be ready by seven o'clock" I said as me and Ruby grabbed Iris.

James growled at us.

" James chill. We won't hurt her and she will be back with you at 7 " I said.

" Serisouly! How are you so gorgeous Iris! " Me and Ruby said jealously.
" Please, I'm not. You guys are the gorgeous ones here " Iris argued.
" That's one of the biggest lies I have ever heard! You are gorgeous " I said back.
" Thank you guys " Iris smiled shyly as me and Ruby finished her hair
" Let's find you a dress. " I stated as I lead them into my closet.

Iris looked and then found one she liked.

" That one? " Iris asked as she pointed out a dress.
" Yes! You will look so good " Ruby said in agreement.

I took the dress off the hanger and handed it to Iris. She had picked out a beautiful red dress and a pair of red heels.

After she put it on me and Ruby were staring at her in awe.

" You look so beautiful Iris " Me and Ruby complimented.
" Thank you girls so much! " Iris smiled as she gave me and Ruby a hug.
" It's was our pleasure " Ruby said back.

Suddenly my alarm rang.

" Let's go!! It's seven! " I said excitedly as we ran outside.

We ran outside and saw James and Jake standing there waiting for us. When James saw Iris he ran over and hugged her.

" Awww " Everyone said.
" Now get going you two " I yelled

After they left I decided to talk to Jake.

" Where did you plan for them to go? " I asked.
"A really fancy restaurant that our pack owns and then he's going to take her to a private movie screening " Jake said.
" Awesome " I smiled at the thought of my brother finally finding his mate.
" Hey Jade? " Jake asked.
" Yeah? " I replied.
" Do you want to help me out at the pack orphanage tomorrow? " Jake asked.
" Yes! I'd love too " I answered.
" Awesome, they're going to love you " Jake smiled at me.
" I hope so " I replied.
" Well I'm going to sleep soon" Jake said.
" It's seven " I said.
" Yeah I know. I'm just really tired " He replied.
" Ok. Me and Ruby are going to have a movie marathon " I said back.
" Have fun " Jake kissed my cheek before he walked off.

I ran to the theatre room and met up with Ruby. We lined up a bunch of movies to watch and got some food. We got ourselves conferrable before starting the first movie.

It was now 3:00am and me and Ruby were watching The Autopsy Of Jane Doe. Honestly, we were scared.

~ Jake's P.O.V~

I woke up from my sleep to hear Jade and Ruby screaming.

" Let's scare them! " My wolf suggested.
" We have to " I agreed.

I slowly walked down the stairs and into the theatre room. The girls were so into their movie that they didn't see me enter. I walked behind Jade and I waited a few minutes, then I scared her. I grabbed her shoulders and she and Ruby screams before quickly turning around.

" JAKE!! " Jade screamed as she threw a pillow at me.

I was laughing hysterically.

" ITS NOT FUNNY! YOU SCARED ME TO DEATH! " She yelled.
" Aww come on baby. It was funny " I said as I walked towards her. " Don't be mad at me " I added.
" Ugh " Jade scoffed.

I smiled.

" Come on. I love you " I said as I gave her a hug.
" You're lucky that I love you too Jake " She smiled.
" I know. Now get back to your movie " I said as I kissed her head and walked back to my room.

" It was kind of funny " Jade mind linked me.
" I know it was " I replied.
" It was HILARIOUS! " My wolf said to her
" I KNOW RIGHT! " Jade's wolf agreed.

I could hear Jade and her wolf laughing.

" Ok, ya it was " Jade agreed.
" Well I'm getting back to my movie and Jake if you try to scare me agin I swear to god! " Jade said.
" Have fun. No promises " I said back.

I smiled and then went back to sleep.

~ Jade's P.O.V ~

I stopped mind linking and went back to my movie. When it ended I found myself falling asleep. I looked at Ruby and saw her already sleeping.

" Night " I mumbled to no one before I passed out.
