I waltz with reality,
Watch my own steps,
While looking at fantasy,
Scoffing at this profanity.
Reality always notices,
Making me look away,
Deeper into the dance,
Leaving fantasy's stare astray.
If only I could tear myself away from Reality's grip
And run to Fantasy
On what would be my life's greatest trip,
If only I had the choice not to waltz with Reality,
Whom has me tied by my hands,
Leaving me to always think of Fantasy's dear plans.
And if only Reality could let me go,
Sooner or later, I hope I'll know.
