What scares me the most is
That I can't control my mind,
I'm not allowed to pause
And all it does is rewind,
All the embarrassing moments
And my darkest thoughts,
It's all a river that overflows
And I just dwell on my laments,
Every word you and I say,
And every single thing you and I have done,
I remember
Even the dreadful feeling of being alone,
Though,
My mind is a beautiful monster
And from it I run,
It's a dangerous roller coaster
Of heart-quickening fun.
