Letter 16

14 1 2

I smile as the leaves rustle and the wind caresses my face. I'd like to think that's it's you, in the wind. I look down at the letter in my lap, and with a smile tugging at my lips, I pull on the yellow string and bring the soft letter up to my eyes.

I love your laugh, it sends chills down my spine, and causes my face to smile brighter than ever. Your laughter rings beautifully in the light of the day or the darkness of night. I find myself wanting to make you laugh as much as I can, just so I can hear that joyful song once again. Darling, tell me, did you hear about the kidnapping? It's okay, he woke up. Love, yours Forever.

I let out a small laugh at the joke you threw in there. And I swear, I swear I felt the wind smile.
