Changes requires sacrifice,

As everything comes with a price,

Your beloved will be surprised,

When you see solitude as a prize.

-

Solitude may be exciting,

But loneliness is another thing,

In the company of nothing,

You think bad of everything.

-

Sadness can be a beauty,

But not if it's daily,

Because then we'll be edgy,

And that sure isn't pretty.

-

Tears can tell stories,

The kinds that make you wary,

Because their red eyes look bloody,

And they will get, again, watery.

-

Quietness can cause enmity,

Though it is the language of a deity,

Meaning it is sort of deadly,

And in some way, dearly.

-

All these feelings might be vital,

But to much of it can be fatal,

Because we are all merely mortal,

And we'll all cause a funeral.
