Nicos POV

I admit that I did kind of miss the attention that Will gave me while I was in the infirmary. It had been 2 full days since I was officially let go and I was feeling a little bit ambivalent.

It wasn't that Will hadn't tried to talk to me since the infirmary, it was that I wouldn't let him talk to me, because that would give Jason and Percy satisfaction. Which I would give them over my dead body.

Right now was one of those times when Will would try to talk to me but I would just push him away.

"Nico!" He said as he sat next to me at the old Hades table.

"Nope." I replied and turned away so that my back was facing him.

He got up and sat on the other side of me, so that he was facing me.

"Nope." I said as I turned around again.

"Why won't you talk to me?"

"Nope." I repeated.

"Will you say anything else?"

"Nope." I said as I turned so that I was facing him.

I got an apple off of my plate and took a large, overdramatic bite out of it. I then walked away, leaving a stunned looking Son of Apollo sitting by himself.

I didn't know where to go, Hazel is who I wold usually head too, but her, along with Reyna, Frank and all of the other Roman campers had left camp earlier this morning.

I considered going over to Jason and Percy, but they were huddled over a notebook or something and I didn't want to interrupt them.

I decided that I would just head over to were my afternoon activity would be held. Unfortunately I had archery which I not only hated, but I sucked at.

"No Nico. Not like that." One of the Apollo kids yelled at me.

Why couldn't they just accept the fact that I was horrible. And so was archery.

The camper whose name was something like Connor or Corbin tried to correct me.

"Make sure your standing up straight." They'd tell me.

"Your arrow is pointing slightly too much to the left."

"Its too much to the right now."

"Ok, it looks good."

"No wait you need to raise your elbow."

"Ok now it looks good."

I was ready to give up on aiming at the target and instead shoot this Apollo kid instead. I would have dealt with Percy and Jasons giggles, whispers and talks if it meant that Will would be here instead of Corbin or whatever he was called.

I shot the arrow. Even with all of the guys tips, my arrow still landed at least 20 feet away from the target.

"Well at least you fired it straight this time." The child of Apollo said, trying to stay optimistic.

I loaded me bow up with another arrow and Corbin kept on telling me more things to change.

"Your posture has gone back to normal again."

"You aim is off to the right."

"Make sure your feet are in the right position."

"It looks good. Just pull the arrow back further than last time."

I fired the arrow once more. I was at least 20 away from the target, but this time it was further away from the target unlike last time.

"Im sure you'll get it soon." Corbin said.

"No I won't. Okay? I know I'm horrible at archery. I don't even want to learn it."

I threw my bow and arrows on the ground and stormed off.

I wasn't sure where I was going but I wasn't going to stop.

My feet took me towards the infirmary without my brains consent. I was going to try and go back to my cabin before someone noticed me.

It was, of course, too late.

The one person I wanted to see the most, but the least at the same time had seen me.

"Nico!" Will called out.

I took an apple out of my pocked and took a big, overdramatic bite out of it, just like how I had at lunch earlier that day.

I walked away, this time to my cabin.

I played down in bed and closed my eyes. the next thing I knew I was woken up by the dinner bell going off.

Just the thought of social interaction made me want to go back to sleep.

I decided against the sleeping idea when my stomach made a sound that sounded like a humpback whales mating call.

I was enjoying my chicken nuggets when Will came and sat at my table.

"Nope." I said.

"Yes." He answered.

I wondered what he meant but instead of I asking I just said: "Nope."

"Yes." He replied.

"Nope."

"Yes."

"Nope."

"Yes."

"Nope."

"Yes."

"Nope."

"Yes."

I looked over to where Jason and Percy were sitting. Percy was pretending to faint and Jason was waving his hand inform of his face, as if he was flustered.

"What do you want?" I asked Will. I decided to just hear what he wanted to say. It seemed no matter what I did, Jason and Percy were going to react to it.

"Wow he speaks." Will said sarcastically. "Why the freaks do you keep on eating apples when ever you se me?"

"Well you know what they say," I replied. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."

And with that I grabbed an apple that was on my plate and once again took a large, dramatic bite out of it.
