"This is happy helpline, think happy thoughts."

"Never hang up on me again."

"..."

"What if I was going through something? You're the only person who I can talk to without a ton of judgement."

"I'm sorry."

"I won't hang up on you either.."

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"For not hanging up on me anymore, I hate it when you do."

"Well um.. your welcome."

"What do you play?"

"Flute."

"Hmm my brother always wanted to play the flute but my dad forced him to play trombone because he thought it was a girl instrument."

"Your dad is the reason men are afraid of feeling anything."

"Thanks."

"Anytime."

"So.. how are you?"

"Decent."

"Um I guess that's good."

"You?"

"Okay."

"I guess that's good too."

"How old are you?"

"Why do you wanna know?"

"I dunno.."

*Silence*

"I'm 19 turning 20 in a month."

"Oh.."

"How old are you?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"Because I told you mine."

"23."

"Oh.."

"Why 'oh'?"

"I was just returning the favor."

".." laughs

"What are you like?"

"What do you mean?"

"What are you like? Like in real life, what kind of person are you?"

"Are you implying this isn't real life?"

"You know what I mean."

"Um I guess I'm pretty boring. I go to the gym and answer calls."

"That's all you do?"

"Pretty much. You?"

"Orchestra, orchestra, more orchestra, some classes, gym, orchestra... I think that's it."

"90% of what you do is play."

"Your point?"

"You just said 'that's all you do?' To me when basically all you do is play."

"I dunno, I guess I pictured you as someone who does a lot more."

"You think about me?"

"Well yeah."

"..."

"I should go."

"Oh um yeah, talk to you later?"

"Bye."

"Bye."
