Supercorp Nervous Lesbian Laughter

Chapter 12

Kara had barley had enough time to leave Catco before she had an incoming call from Alex. 

"Hey Alex what's up?" Kara asked her sister hoping everything was okay back at the DEO and with Maggie. 

"Supergirl there's a serious apartment fire and we need you there asap" Alex said calmly through the phone to her sister, knowing that Kara would be at the scene instantly. sure enough Supergirl flew onto the scene and to her shock she saw that a whole floor of apartments were on fire as smoke poured out windows and seemed to seep through the stone walls. She acted instinctively using her freeze breath to put out the fire before sweeping the apartments making sure that everyone got out okay and nobody was injured.

luckily Supergirl never found anyone's toasted remains and she let out a sigh of relief knowing that she got there just in time, now that one of many National Cities crisis' was averted Kara knew that she had to go and deal with her own Lena not talking to her after the kiss crisis and she would be lying if she said she wasn't even slightly nervous. 

Just as the Kryptonian was getting ready to fly off to L-Corp to talk to Lena she felt a pang of pain in her head which dissipated almost as quickly as it arrived. she shrugged it off as just nerves and flew out the window. the veins underneath her skin glowed red for a second if even that and then went back to there normal transparent shade beneath her skin. Kara had been infected with red kryptonite. Again. 

A newly red kryptonite infected Supergirl landed on Lena Luthors balcony and stormed in  confidently not really caring if she startled Lena which she did. the CEO spun around in her chair at the unexpected sound of somebody entering her office through the balcony and stood up happy that it was Supergirl and not one of her mothers goons here to kidnap her or worse. 

"Supergirl! what a surprise" Lena said smiling at her visitor, Kara walked up to the Luthor standing a few inches away from her, smirking. 

"Are you scared Miss Luthor?" Supergirl said menacingly still smirking as she stepped even closer to the woman in front of her, Lena's heart started to race she could feel Supergirl's steady breath hitting her face. 

"No of course not" Lena said smiling through her confusion and letting out a small but sufficient chuckle. she watched in amazement as Kara lifted her hand up slowly grazing Lena's face as she pushed a bit of the Luthor's raven hair behind her ear caressing her face as she did so. A fierce blush graced Lena's cheek as she looked down at the floor unable to look into the Kryptonian's harsh blue eyes any longer. 

 "Then why's your heart racing?" the Kryptoninan whispered in a flirty tone into Lena's ear, this made the Luthors mouth hang open. Was Supergirl flirting with me? Lena thought to herself as she started to blush an even darker shade of red. Kara smiled deviously to herself after it was evident that Lena was speechless. 

Supergirl smashed her lips into Lena's with such force that it caused the Luthor to stumble back and fall into her chair, supergirl quickly straddled Lena wrapping her arms around the CEO's neck kissing her passionately. Lena didn't know why but she was enjoying being kissed by the super, she never wanted it to end this felt more like a fantasy than reality to her. Supergirl pulled back from the kiss biting down on Lena's lower lip before she let go of the Luthor completely as she stood up. 

Lena couldn't speak as she watched Supergirl walk out of her office and fly out into the sky over national city. The CEO spun back around on her chair trying to comprehend what just happened. 

And then it dawned on her, she would recognise those ocean blue eyes anywhere and that smile. granted it may have been a bit more menacing than usual but she recognised it instantly when she thought back on the kiss. Kara Danvers is Supergirl Lena said confidently in her head. And then an even greater more important fact came into Lena's mind Kara Danvers likes me back, she actually likes me.
