Chapter 24

Lena woke up to the sun streaming in through a half opened bedroom window and smiled remembering last night, then the smell of newly cooked pancakes started making its way into her nostrils making her stomach rumble uncontrollably, she then heard the faint sound of singing echoing around her eardrums. Lena stood up and padded through to the kitchen where she saw Kara completely wrapped up in her pancake making, singing work. The blonde turned round and frowned at the sight of Lena, her frown quickly developed into a disappointed pout. 

"No! Lena that's not fair i wanted to make you breakfast in bed to apologise for being such a idiot last night" Kara said stamping her foot in annoyance like a toddler having a tantrum. Lena sat down at her kitchen island on a bar stool, so she was was right across from Kara. 

"Oh Honey the only breakfast in bed i desire is you" Lena said seductively raising a eyebrow as she leaned across the table separating herself from Kara, showing off her cleavage, as if setting it on a silver platter for the blonde to admire. Kara furrowed her eyebrows in confusion not understanding what Lena meant by that remark. Lena rolled her eyes, it was extremely difficult to seduce someone when they had no idea what the concept of flirting even was. 

"Go back to bed, your no ruining this for me" Kara demanded shaking the spatula in her hand in the direction of Lena, The brunette stood up and put her hands up in a surrender as she made her way back to the bedroom and flumped on the bed with a groan. Kara set up the breakfast tray so everything was in a perfect order before taking it through to the bedroom where Lena was sitting up in the bed, her back leaning against the headboard, Kara put the tray on her lap and sat down beside her gently. 

"This smells amazing Kara!" Lena said, which made the blonde smile cheerfully happy that she had managed to please the Luthor, which in normal terms was very hard to accomplish. Lena took a bite of the pancake that had been generously smothered in syrup and let out a lengthy moan of pleasure. Kara blushed slightly at the noise that came from between the Luthors lips, that made her feel things that she had never really felt before and it felt strange to Kara, she didn't really know how to react. "Oh I'm sorry Kara I'll try not to orgasm" Lena said while taking another bite and closing her eyes in complete ecstasy. Kara's jaw dropped open as she could feel her face starting to burn again, she pushed her glasses up nervously as she felt her heartbeat quicken. Lena looked over at Kara and chuckled, "babe don't worry im just joking, it takes a lot more than a pancake for that to happen" She winked as she finished her sentence and apparently her pancake's as she lifted the tray of herself and rested it on the floor beside her bed. 

"I know" was all Kara could mutter out, still shook from the huge moan she had just heard the love of her life make, and she was slightly jealous that it wasn't her giving Lena that reaction but instead it was some stupid pancakes. Lena took Kara's hands in hers and squeezed softly rubbing her thumbs across the blonde's knuckles which made Kara's hair stand up on end. she shivered at the close touch of her soon to be lover. 

"We can take this as slow as you like Kara, whatever makes you feel comfortable" Lena said looking into those bright blue eyes that were even brighter against the flushed tone of Kara's skin, a shade that had become semi permanent around Lena. 

"What if i dont want to take things slow" Kara said looking back into green orbs, this answer looked like it shocked Lena, she obviously wasn't expecting her to be that keen for lack of a better word. 

"Kara I-" Lena began to say as she pulled her hands out of Kara's but the hero cut her off before she was able to continue. 

"before you say anything, your not pressuring me, i know what im saying and ive been holding out for the right person and its you Lee, i believe that you and me are forever so why wait, i want this, i want you, i love you" Kara said casing Lena's heads in her hands not dropping eye contact once as her reddened face began to dilute back to its normal colour. Lena looked at her, smiling happily, she would be lying if she said she wasn't desperate to get under the girl of steel. 

"Are you sure?" Lena said seriously not quite understanding what would make Kara change her mind under the span of twenty four hours, Kara just nodded her head in response, licking her lips hungrily. Lena pushed there heads together, stealing Kara's lips away in a deep, long, passionate kiss before pulling away for breath and resting their foreheads against each other not wanting to separate from each other. 

"Kara Danvers your full of surprises" Lena whispered, brushing her lips against the blondes, Kara smiled in content at the calm tone of Lena's voice which helped to settle her own nerves slightly. she was ready, ready to know all of Lena.
