2021 Disclaimer: If you are someone who plans to share art or improve your drawing, I don't recommend tracing. In many cases, tracing is theft, even if you tweak it after. Younger me didn't know better. Good news: Some artists create bases you can trace, but those are specifically noted by the artist that tracing or redrawing is allowed.

Yo. Just wanted to show you some art I created a long time ago.

This is a cover for I made for OSL:

The original drawing of Riley and Eran was done in 2014 for the cover

Pretty sure it took me months to finish (not even including the color edits that you see in the above cover). I used Junko-sensei (a BL mangaka, also the author of "Kiss Him, Not Me") as inspiration for the style. I looked at many different mangaka and loved her style the best. I probably like Ogawa Chise more now. Just so you know, Riley's hand is 100% traced from a manga panel. 😅 Even now, I still can't draw hands completely on my own. I take pictures of my own hands in different positions, trace, then tweak to make it more manga-like. I looked at so many tutorials for the other parts and practiced like hell, trying to come up with my own style. That's why it took months. 😂

Art #2:

This wasn't as serious and was done for fun, so, as you can see, about 95% of it is traced

If anyone is curious, I drew these on my phone (Samsung Note 3) using my stylus and the stock software Sketchbook (by autodesk)

If anyone is curious, I drew these on my phone (Samsung Note 3) using my stylus and the stock software Sketchbook (by autodesk). Now I use my phone and PicsArt just for editing, while I do drawing using my wacom pad and lately Photoshop.
