"Does the world deserve to know about us?" she asked.
Her lips were trembling, knowing that the words that are about to escape from them could change half of their lives.
"No, darling, they don't. It is you, actually. You deserve the world."
And with that, he held her hand knowing that it is the only hand that could tend his heart as much as it could break it. And together – hand in hand, heart by heart – they braved the world.
