I sat on the yellow lawn chair looking out upon the forest. The light from the sun draped over me, engulfing me in a blanket of warmth and light. A soft wind blew over me, playing with my hair and making the shadows from the tree branches on the ground shift. The newly budding leaves wrapped the trees in a green lace, and the fresh green grass sprung up, soft and spongy to the touch. Scattered in patches along the forest floor was purple and white flowers, smiling up at the sun. The cries of birds and the chatter of squirrels filled the air creating a lulling song that pulled me towards the deep cavern of sleep. Slowly my eye lids became heavy, my head fell against the back of the chair, and I was pulled into sleep where my spring time lullaby played ever more.
