James POV

I stared at April as she ate her fifth hamburger she's really starting to concern me like she normally eats a lot but now she's eating a lot more than normal. I'm not going to comment on it maybe she's just hungry like girls can eat a lot to if they want. Plus I don't want to offend her or make her feel like I'm calling her fat because I'm not. But she is developing a bit of a stomach though. 

If you just met her you would think that's how skinny she is but she didn't develop that bump until a few weeks ago. Maybe she was under weight and the doctor told her to add some weight or something. "James are you okay you hardly touched your food" April suddenly spoke up.

I shook my head in attempt to get rid of my thoughts their stupid anyways I'm worrying over nothing she's fine I'm sure. "Yeah I'm good just not that hungry" I told her.

"Are you sure" she asked

"Actually I'm stressing out I don't know where to take Axel for our date" I told her.

She nodded and bit her bottom lip "Leave that to me I have the most perfect idea" she said before taking a big bite out of her hamburger. 

There wasn't anymore conversations after that I watched her eat her fudge brownie and vanilla ice cream. She must've felt my gaze on her because she looked up at me then down at her plate she cleared her throat and put her spoon down. "James can I trust you with a secret" she said while looking up at me.

I nodded "Of course" I said while leaning in.

"I'm pregnant" she blurted.

My eyes bulged out of my head and my mouth hung open. I was not expecting that...wait she has a girlfriend. "You're what" I asked my head still not wrapping around what she just told me.

She looked down at her stomach "Like I said" she mumbled 

"You're pregnant?!" I gasped suddenly grasping what she was telling me. She nodded "Who's the father. Wait you have a girlfriend did you...cheat on Marisa" I asked cautiously.

She shook her head vigorously "Oh god no I would never" she gasped and looked at me absolutely horrified.

"Who's the father" I asked again.

She shook her head "Don't worry about it" she said.

Well she clearly doesn't want to talk about that "What will your family say" I asked her.

She looked at me like if I was stupid "Congratulations" she said in a 'duh' tone.

"How did this happen you're like 17" I demanded.

"I'm 18 now keep your voice down" she hissed.

"I'm sorry I'm just nervous" I told her.

"You're nervous" she said in disbelief "I'm the one carrying the kid" she snapped.

"Don't get snappy with me girl" I snapped back.

She giggled "Sorry it's the mood swings" she smiled.

I nodded "How far along are you" I asked her.

She thought for a moment as if calculating it in her head "I'm 2 weeks along" she said "And I'm carrying twins" she added.

"Wow, does Marisa know" I asked.

"She does. So does Axel and all of the people at the mansion" she said.

"And what did they say when they found out" I asked. Don't blame me I was raised by my mom and my mom is Mexican so naturally I like gossip. 

"Congratulations" she said in a duh tone like earlier "Except for Marisa she fainted"

I nodded I don't know what force on earth told me but something made me look outside and boy am I thankful I did "April we need to leave" I said while looking at her. She looked alarmed as well and looked out the window.

Her face paled "Yup we should go to Axel's house it's safer there" she said quickly.

Her eyes glazed over they usually do that and when they do she makes an excuse to leave my house. We walked out of the cafe I walked in front trying to keep April out of sight but it was too late they spotted us. It was as if they tracked our scent or something they walked over and I started to pick up my pace. I was practically dragging April so she could keep up with my steps I was still being as careful as possible though. 

I heard a distant howl coming from the woods but I ignored it wolves are native to this town so it's not unusual to hear them howling every once in a while. "Where do you think you're going little one" I heard behind me before April was snatched out of my grip. I whipped around so fast that if I had long hair I would have whipped lashed.

I pulled out my gun on instinct and glared at Drake many people looked at us but walked away. On this side of town it wasn't unusual to see people with guns or gangs getting into shootings this was the 'ghetto' side. April elbowed Drake in the side and ran next to me she let out a low menacing growl. 

Drake looked April up and down and took a deep breath "Twins?" he asked looking down at her stomach. I felt alarmed how did he know that of course I didn't let my emotions show and I kept of glaring with my gun in my right hand. "Are they yours?" he then asked me "I'm assuming they are not the scent is powerful...beta by any chance" he said. 

Beta? What is he talking about "Shut the fuck up Drake" April growled. Wait how does she know him.

He hissed at her like if he was a cat which is weird I'm lost here at the moment how do they know each other. Drake is another gangleader from a different gang he is the man that killed my sister and till this day I haven't been able to kill him. Drake laughed "And what are you going to do to me, Omega" he taunted. 

The howling got closer which was also weird the wolves never came into town they usually stayed in the forest. I was to busy thinking about the stupid wolves that I let my guard down and the next thing I knew I was kicked onto the floor. I heard a loud smack followed by April screaming in pain. I looked up still a bit dazed from just being kicked in the face to see April hunched over gripping her stomach. 

That knocked me out of whatever daze I was in I quickly stood up and grabbed my gun. I shot Drake twice but like the other times before he was unfazed by my gun. So I tackled him to the ground and started to punch him in the face. "James watch ou-" April tried to warn me. 

But it was too late I fell to the side my vision hazy the last thing I saw was April crying for help as they dragged her to their black suv and drove off then everything went black.

A/N There's chapter 13 I know it took me a long time to update and there's no excuse I was just lazy. I'm a bad author I should be put to shame (not literally)...BYEE!!
