"she's in a coma."
"we don't knew how long she'll be asleep.."
"she has a broken leg and broken ribs with some other minor injuries.."
"tyler i know this is hard but you have to listen."
tyler looked around the room. the doctor was standing in front of him along with flora's parents and the bridal party. he noticed that he was still in his blood stained tux. his face felt weird from where his tears has dried. he felt like he was in a dream.
"tyler, you have to listen to the doctor." august said and rubbed tyler's arm. he nodded.
"mr. posey, flora is in a coma. when she got hit her body completely shut down and went into a deep sleep. she has a broken leg, a couple broken ribs, and some minor bruises and cuts. we don't know exactly when she'll wake up; could be days, could be weeks." the doctor sighed. "i know this is hard, but she really needs your support."
"can i see her?" he blurted.
"son, she's really banged up i don't know if you should see her like that."
"let me see her." tyler said angrily. the doctor nodded and led him down the silent hall of the hospital. he walked in to see his precious flora. she looked so helpless lying on the bed with cuts and bruises all over her face. tyler started to cry again and ran to hold her hand.
he laid his head down beside hers and cried. he stayed like that for several days. everyone tried to get him to leave but he wouldn't budge. they finally made him get out of his old, stained suit and into some more comfortable clothes.
tyler only ate when he had to. he never wanted to leave his wife's side. he couldn't believe that their first days of marriage were spent in a hospital while flora was unconscious.
he couldn't help but think it was all his fault. if he would've been looking he could've pulled her away from the car. or even pushed her aside and gotten hit himself. he kept thinking that he would do anything to take her pain away.
days later the police arrived and told him that they found the driver. he was drunk that night and was out of control. he was arrested, but tyler hated him. he is the one that could take his wife away forever.
angry tears were flowing down his face all night. august sat with him, comforting him. the rest of her family came and visited her during the weeks she was unconscious.
he was so thankful for all of his friends and family supporting him through this. he was just so mad that olivia hasn't even bothered to come see her. she used to be her best friend. she would never let a boyfriend or girlfriend in between their friendship. he couldn't help but blame priyanka for it all. flora pretended not to care that olivia wasn't at the wedding, but he knew it was just an act. flora and olivia have been friends since middle school.
he knew she loved august, but they met in high school and her and olivia had always had a strong relationship.
he really didn't know how much longer he could take with flora like this. he needed his wife, he needed flora.

i know i kinda dropped a bomb on all but it makes the story more interesting :') the next chapter will be more dialogue and stuff so look forward to that!!
