I was woken up by the feeling of cold air. I opened my eyes to see the window was open.
(But we never opened it and where's Sherlock?)
Confused, I got out of bed to close it. After I did I was going to look for Sherlock but that's when it happened. An arm wrapped around me and stuffed a cloth into my mouth. "Mmphn??!!" They pushed me so I fell before banging my head onto the floor with much force. "Mph...!!!" My consciousness began to fade. "Mmm..." The last of my strength left me as he began bounding my body with rope. As he hoisted me over his shoulder, I heard the door open. A click sounded through the air which made the man holding me freeze.
"I'm pretty sure you can guess what I'll do if you don't let her go in the next few seconds"(Sherlock...?)
The man dropped me and someone undid the ropes. I looked up to see John. "Stay with me Elena, if you fall unconscious now you'll sleep for a very long period of time" He removed the cloth from my mouth. Just then the door opened again and George ran in.
"You're under arrest" He put handcuffs on the guy and lead him away. John took me to the living room and set me on the couch before leaving. My eyes closed but I felt someone shake me causing them to open again.
"You heard John, you have to stay awake"
"Easier said than done Sherlock..." John came back with a bandage, some antibacterial wipes and a cold compress.
"There's not a lot of blood so that's a good sign, he didn't use as much force as he had thought he did" John wiped away the blood before tying the bandage around my forehead and pressing the cold compress onto my large bump.
"What's their goal now?" George asked.
"It's as clear as day what their goal is Lestrade. They were trying to make her fall unconscious and tied her up meaning that they most likely wanted to transport her somewhere else"
"Couldn't you just say they wanted to kidnap her?"
"I could've Lestrade, doesn't mean I should've"
"Guys focus. We need to figure out a plan to keep Elena safe"
"The perpetrator will most likely strike when Elena is alone. So we must ensure she is never alone" My vision began to swim in and out of focus.
"Guys..." I tried to get their attention but they were too busy conferring to hear my quiet voice. My eyes slowly closed and I tried to hold onto my consciousness but it proved impossible and I was plunged into darkness.Meanwhile the guys...
"I still don't understand why he would change his mind all of a sudden" John stated.
"His feelings have changed. Perhaps he wants to kill her himself or torture her instead" Sherlock suggested.
"I'll be satisfied when we can put this bastard in jail" George stated.
"I think we'll all be satisfied, right Elena?" There was no response. "Oh shit! Elena wake up!" John shook the blonde woman's shoulders but she didn't respond. "Damn it! I should've paid attention to her!"
"It's not your fault John, we all should've kept an eye on her" George reassured him.
"But as a doctor-"
"You did all you could. Stop beating yourself up about it. As much as I hate to verbally admit this; Lestrade is right"
"You heard that John? My ears aren't tricking me right?"
"No you heard right" Both men sat there with widened eyes.
"We all should've made sure she stayed awake. Especially me since Elena is my client and girlfriend"
"You're right Sherlock, thanks" John said.
"I did nothing that requires thanks" Sherlock went into his room with Elena in his arms. The two remaining men stared after him.
"Still Sherlock actually admitted I was right about something..."
"Is that a sign that there's going to be a snowstorm tomorrow?"
"I'd say a tornado is coming with behaviour like that. I best get home to wait it out"
"See ya George" He left and John went upstairs to his room and into bed.Meanwhile with Sherlock...
Sherlock made sure Elena was comfortable before getting into bed. He wrapped his arms around her tightly to protect her.
