*Your POV*
I sat on the bar stool, watching my best friends Darrell, Vinny, Phil, Rex, and David play their set while I took a sip of my Fireball and cream soda. Seeing them play, and do what they love is an amazing feeling and being able to tour with them is so much more than amazing. My eyes shifted towards Darrell as he played his solo, getting into the beat and losing himself in the music. A smile formed on my lips as I took another sip, enjoying the burn from the whiskey. Dime and I had been friends since we were kids, and I'd had a crush on him since we were in middle school though I never had the courage to tell him. He saw me as one of the guys and chances were, he'd never see me as anything more. He looked up from his guitar and smiled at me, making me blush slightly. I downed the rest of my drink, standing up and walking through the crowd to the center in front of him. Phil glanced over as the song ended and grinned again, walking over and helping Darrell get me onto the stage. The crowd booed, probably thinking I was just a fan. Phil pulled me into a hug, rubbing my back. "Hey guys, cool it! This girl's been our best friend since before this band even started, so you treat her with respect. She's as much of a member of Pantera as myself, Vinny or Dime." He said as Darrell brought me into a hug, letting his arms rest on my waist as my head rested over his heart. "Hey Diamond, you havin' fun?" I asked, just loud enough for him to hear. "Always am when you're around." He said, just as quietly as myself. A darker blush formed on my cheeks and he laughed quietly, my eyes drifted up to his and I let a hand rest on his back. I backed up a bit, knowing he was hugging me longer than normal. "Hey Dime, you gonna let her go so we can get this show on the road?" "C'mon Phil.." He said, laughing though his face was getting a bit red. 'Darrell is blushing...?' I thought as he moved me a bit, lifting me onto his back. I giggled and held onto his shoulders, knowing I probably weighed nothing to him. "You alright up there darlin'?" Darrell asked, his accent shining through finally. "Of course, Diamond." I say, using his old nickname just before the next song starts.
*Halfway through the concert; Darrell's POV*
I caught another glance at her, smiling as she danced along with the music without caring that there was a lot of people watching. 'She is so damn beautiful....' I thought as she walked over to Vinny, giggling as she grabbed his hat and slipped it onto her own head before walking over to Phil who'd invited her to sing Walk with him. I felt a little jealous, and I knew I had to tell her about my feelings eventually. I'd had a crush on her since we were kids, yet I'd never had the guts to say so. She was always so cool around me, and I didn't know how to take that. I knew that if things went wrong between us it would ruin our amazing friendship, so I'd always designated myself to the friendzone to save us the pain. Soon it was time for the intermission though nobody had left the auditorium. Vinny walked over while stretching, giving me a knowing look. "Just tell her, brother. It isn't gonna do you any harm." He said, I nodded as my face heated up a bit. "Hey Darrell?" She asked, looking up into my eyes for the sheer reason that she was a bit shorter than myself. "Yeah Doll, what's up?" I asked, slinging my guitar behind my back and wrapping my arms around her waist as she blushed. "I um... I..." I cleared my mind, letting my heart finally talk. "I love you... I have for a long time now and I've never been able to say it." I say quietly, closing my eyes and letting a sigh of relief escape my lips. "I've always had a crush on you, yet over the years I've slowly fallen for you without knowing it." I continue, letting the words just spill out of me. I open my eyes and look down at her again. "Darrell..." She said quietly, her eyes a bit wide. "I feel the same way..." She said, letting her arms rest around my neck. "I've only got one thing to ask you then... Jessamine, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked, thanking the small boost of confidence that came over me. She blushed a bit darker and nodded, standing on her tiptoes and kissing me. I kissed her back, closing my eyes after a few moments and deepening it. I heard the crowd cheer and one of the guys wolf whistling, making her move closer to me. I pulled back after a little bit, kissing her forehead. "Wanna stay up here and play with me beautiful?" I ask her quietly, smiling. "Sure. I wanna grab one more drink though, want me to grab you anything?" "You already know.." I say, making her laugh. "Alright, I'll be back shortly." She said, kissing my cheek before slipping out of my grip and jumping off the stage. I watched as she went over to the bar, seeing Phil walk over in my peripheral vision. I looked at him as he rested his arm on my shoulder. "Nice one Dime.. You finally got your dream girl!" He said, grinning in excitement for us. "Yeah I did..!" I knew how lucky I was in that moment, and I realized that I'd do whatever I could to make her happy.

*After the concert, Darrell's POV*
I got my stuff into the hatch of the bus before climbing into the main area and sitting on the couch, seeing Jessa walk on too. She walked over and sat on my lap, resting her head on my chest as I wrapped my arms around her. "Tonight was fun.." "Yeah it was, I'm glad you came out to this concert.." "I am too. If I had decided to stay on the bus, I would've missed something wonderful." She said, looking over as Phil and Vinny walked on. "There's the power couple of the century!" Vinny said, trying to steal his hat back from Jessa. She laughed and dodged his hand, looking up at me and kissing me. Phil laughed and sat across from us, crossing his legs. "I'm glad you two are finally together, I don't think we would've been able to deal with you two not sorting your feelings out any longer." He said, Vinny nodding in agreement. I blushed again and kissed her back, rubbing her back. We pulled back after a minute, smiling at each other and ignoring the others. "I love you Jess." I say quietly as the others get on. "I love you too Darrell." She whispered, resting her head over my heart again. I'm so lucky to have her finally...
