*Star's POV*

I looked up at the stage, smirking softly as I watched my boyfriend Ashley play with his band Stolen Hearts. He looked at me, chocolate brown eyes turning to gleaming golden caramel in the lights. The familiar riffs of I'll Be Damned started ringing through the speakers, Ashley walking towards me and smirking. "Oh yeah, yeah yeah! She's one like her mother, she's a hell of a dream." My eyes lit up a bit, enjoying my view. "She's a sex machine, oh yeah! Oh yeah! Well look out, standing in the crossfire watch your back! She's a cruel operator, she's a heart attack oh yeah! Oh yeah!" I smirked, my biker boots tapping against the floor in time with the beat as my hand brought the glass of Seagram's 7 I'd ordered to my lips. Enjoying the smooth burn, I downed the dark gold whiskey and set the now empty glass down without breaking my lover's gaze. His words filled my ears, the memories swimming in my mind with thoughts of what was sure to come when we went back to our motel room. The look in his eyes told me that he was thinking of our memories too, and was anticipating the same thing as me. "The best damn thing that I ever seen around, we got lost together and guess what I have found. I'll be damned! I'll be damned! I'll be damned! I'll be damned!"

My fingers ran through my dyed jet black hair as he made his way around the stage, my eyes not leaving him for more than a few moments. He kept the crowd excited, glancing over at me occasionally to make sure I was having fun. I started to sing along, each word bringing a new memory to light for me. "Let her kill in the night when she comes alive with a sex that sells, gonna roll the dice, oh yeah! Oh yeah! Gotta lot a chance at what she's got, she's a devil's body, an angel's heart oh yeah! Fuck yeah!" The people around me cheered, some singing along as he continued once I got up and headed to the bar to get another glass of whiskey. Keeping Ash's leather jacket around me, I faced the stage while waiting for the bartender and sang with the song. Spacing out a bit, I continued to watch the show; my heart rate jumping when a young man tapped me on the shoulder, leaning over and asking what a cute girl was doing at a show like this by myself. My emerald green eyes studied the man before I opted to ignore him, letting myself focus on the band. My drink came a few moments later and I grabbed it almost immediately, keeping it close before I took a few sips to calm my nerves. As I nursed my drink, I noticed Ash looking for me and getting a dark look in his eyes when he saw the man still trying to talk to me. 'The look that kills.' I thought, making my way back to the table I'd been near before; Ash's eyes not leaving me as he kept singing. "The best damn thing that I ever seen around, we got lost together and guess what I have found. I'll be damned! I'll be damned! I'll be damned! I'll be damned! I'll be damned! Just can't get enough, she won't adjust. The time I've got no, she got me off. Tell me you'll be mine for the rest of the night, oh yeah!" He finished the song, walking over towards my side of the stage before bringing the mic to his lips again. "That was for my girl, Star. Babe, you're my heaven on Earth. You've got a Devil's body, an angel's heart and an unending amount of support for everything I do; for that, I'm always gonna be grateful. I love you, babe." He said, slipping his mic into the stand before walking over and wrapping an arm around me possessively as he glared at the man who'd walked over.

"I love you too, Ash." He leaned down a bit, kissing me and keeping me close to his body. "Oh, you're with this guy? Why didn't you say something?" The man asked after Ash pulled back, his voice rough and almost sounding like he was jealous. "Because it's really none of your business..." I said softly, my voice barely audible before I bit my lip and wrapped an arm around my lover. "I'm sorry... What was that?" The man seemed a bit angrier, Ash gently squeezing my shoulders. "It's none of your business who the hell she's with, regardless of the fact that it's me. Now, I suggest you walk the fuck away before we have an issue. Alright?" Ash growled, the dark look still in his eyes. "A girl like this deserves someone more than a wannabe rock star that'll screw any groupie that comes along just to feel better about themselves, punk." I winced, Ash rolling his eyes. "C'mon, baby... He's not worth it." I said, looking up at the man I loved. He hadn't so much as moved on his own other than to walk over, so I led him away from the man and sat him down in one of the back rooms. "He had no right to say that." Ash muttered, his hands taking my own and squeezing them gently. "I know, babe, but you know what we can do about that? Ignore him and move along with our lives. He's a nobody, and you're my everything. He can't change that, not now and not ever." I sat on Ash's lap, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Just calm down, Outlaw. I'm always gonna be your girl." He smiled genuinely, bringing a hand up and gently moving my head a bit before kissing me.

After he'd calmed down and relaxed a bit, I told him to finish his set. He did and came back as soon as the last song ended, kneeling in front of me and kissing my cheek. "Hey darlin', ready to get out of this joint and go relax?" He asked, his eyes turning as gold as whiskey once he pulled back and studied me. "I'm always ready to spend time with you, handsome." My hand took his, intertwining our fingers as I stood up and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "You know something, honey? I don't know what I'd do without you..." He murmured quietly as we walked out to his Harley and got ourselves comfortable on it before slipping our helmets on. My arms wrapped around his waist, keeping myself as close to the warmth of his body as possible. "I should be the one saying that, Ash..." I allowed my head to rest on his shoulder as he started the bike up, the hum of the engine seeming as calming as his music had been to me. "Maybe... That doesn't make it any less true though, sweetheart." He pulled out of the driveway, heading to our home for the night as I thought about how truly lucky I was to be with someone as incredible as he was.
