Erelil's POV

I was dress in my blue dress and brown cloak with brown shoes. There was a bag packed with healing herbs on one shoulder.  Then my other bag had food, spear clothes in it and a water skin attached to it. I had everything I need for the journey home except a horse. I can't use Rhoden, no doubt he died of old age about a hundred years ago.

"You have everything Lass?" Dwalin asks.

"Yes I do, thank you all for your hospitality" I say smiling at everyone. Except for Thorin who was in the treasure hall looking for the Arkenstone. "I wish you all luck for your future and know if you need it Lothlorien & Rivendell will be here to help you rebuild" I tell them.

"Thank you and safe journey home" Balin says smiling. I give each a hug or a kiss on the head before heading out the front gate. Breathing in the fresh free air I smile up at the sky as the sun rises in east.

"I'm coming home Mother and Father" I say then start walking to the  overlook. Last night I saw the survivors of Lake Town heading toward Dale. As I reach the over look I see four other dwarves. "You guys must be, Kili, Fili, Oin and Bofur the others are waiting for you in the mountain" I tell them smiling.

"Who are you?" the oldest of the four (who must be Oin) asks.

"Princess Erelil of Lothlorien, but you may know me as the singing princess" I say smiling.

"You're even more beautiful in person, Fili and Kili at your service" the two young dwarves say bowing.

"I'm Bofur also at your service" the last one says smiling.

"You four have to be among the nicest dwarves I've ever meet and I've only met thirteen" I say giggling. "Now I must be on my way, I have a long journey home and the others are worried about you. Best not keep them waiting" I tell them.

"Of course and good luck on your journey home" Oin says smiling and they continue onto the mountain. I then continue on to Dale to see the people of Lake Town have not arrived yet. So I decide to find a place to sleep and put my stuff down. But then carry the healing herbs to the great hall where I'll treat the injured.

(Later that night) still Erelil's POV

I saw a light from my spot on the wall and begin to sing so that they would find the city. Even though I had lit the torches along the wall and in the city. Snow was already covering the mountain side and that gave me inspiration for the song.

"Under the snow
Beneath the frozen streams
There is lifeYou'll have to know
When nature sleeps she dreams
There is lifeAnd the colder the winter
The warmer the spring
The deeper the sorrow
The more our hearts singEven when you can't see it
Inside everything
There is Life...Oh....After the Rain
The sun will reappear
There is lifeAfter the pain
The joy will still be here
There is lifeFor it's out of the darkness
That we learn to see
And out of the silence
That songs come to beAnd all that we dream of
Awaits patently
There is lifeThere is life" I finish as the citizens of Lake town appear. "Welcome to all of you, those who need medical attention please go to the great hall. I'll tend to each of you" I tell them. "Who is your leader? Who killed the dragon?" I ask as they look up at me as I descend the stairs towards them.

"I am Bard, I killed the dragon and lead these people now" a man says approaching me.

"Then I thank you, because of you I am now free and I wish to help your people with their injuries before returning home" I tell him smiling.

"You're the singing princess" a girl says and I see she's holding the man's hand.

"Yes I am and want's your name sweety?" I ask kneeling in front of her.

"Tilda" she says smiling and hugs me which I return.

"What do we call you?" Bard asks.

"Call me Erelil, now all of those who are injured follow me to the great hall please" I tell the crowd. Bard told them to trust me and a third of the people follow me. "Now I'll tend to the most severally injured first then save the least injured people for last" I explain once we reached the hall. It took a few hours to heal everyone and I was very tired by the end.

"Thank you for helping us" Bard says as we walked through Dale.

"It's my pleasure, besides you freed me it is the least I can do" I tell him. "But I'll leave tomorrow, however I need a horse" I say.

"I'll have one prepared for you, but please stay until you've regained your strength. You may hide it, but I know healing my people took a lot out of you. So feel free to stay as long as you need to recover" Bard assures me.

"Thank you, I may stay for an other day it is a long journey home even on horse back" I tell him smiling. "I'll rest now, but feel free to wake me if someone gets hurt or sick" I tell him. "Good night Bard Dragon-slayer" I say before heading to where I had left my stuff to see it all there still. I lay down on my bedroll and fall into an exhausted sleep.
