Season 1
"What about school?"
"What about school?" My mom said as she packed up our stuff.
"What if they're learning something more complex than I am at this school!" I yelled as she entered another room.
"You'll be fine!" She yelled back rolling out another suitcase. I was an only child to my single mother aged 29. I'm only 14 years old and am so not excited about moving. Mom says it's a bigger house and better neighborhood, but I'm not feeling it.
"Evan! Time to go!" She yelled from outside. I sighed and grabbed my suit case a walked out of my house.

We arrived at the front of the new house. It was bigger than my old one. I stepped inside. The walls were white, there was a big wooden stair case and the front door, there were 4 bedrooms that we'd only sleep in two but fill the rest with junk. I helped my mom pack up the house and picked out my room. My room had its own bathroom in it and everything. It had a window to look out of the street and the house next to me. Once everything was done and packed I went downstairs and saw my mom on the phone in the kitchen. Probably on a business call again. I went into the backyard. I heard someone talking so I grabbed a box that had all of our gardening supplies in it and stood on it.
"Hey" I said. The boy looked up at me.
"Hey" he said back. "I'm Evan, I just moved here". "I'm Jon". He was short and had a buzz cut. He had dark ocean blue eyes and pale skin with two things around his legs.
"What are those things on your legs?" I asked pointing at the metal things on his legs. "They're my braces. I have a crooked spine" he said shutting one eye as the sun beamed into it.
"Were you born with it or did it just happened?" I asked.
"It became crooked when I was 7", I nodded.
"Does it hurt?"
"Mhm"
"What school do you go to?"
"Northwest" he said pointing behind him.
"Any friends?"
"Yeah, they live around us" he said looking around. "Any siblings?" I asked.
"Nope" he said.
"Do you-"
"Are you going to interview me the whole day?" He asked crossing his arms.
"Fine then ask me some questions" I said crossing my arms as well.
"Why'd you move here?" He asked.
"My mom got a new job", he nodded.
"Well it was nice interviewing you but I have to get going... I'll see you around right?" I asked.
"Yeah"
"Cool, bye!" I said hopping off the fence and walking inside. I think he stayed out there.

Today was the first day of high-school. I put on my red collared zip up and khakis on. I wonder if that Jon kid was walking to school too. I grabbed my black backpack and ran out the door. I said bye to my mother on the way out but she didn't respond. I saw Jon slowly making his way down the ramp next to his stairs. "Hey!" I said running over to the ramp next to him. I wasn't on the ramp but I was on the ground next to it. "Hey Evan" he said looking at me with those beautiful eyes.
"Wanna walk to school together?" I asked.
"Do I have a choice?"
"No, you kinda have to", he laughed and nodded. He made it to the end and we started walking to school.
"Hey!" Someone yelled behind us. We both turned around. "Hey Tyler" Jon said as a tall boy approached us. "Sup cripple" he laughed.
"Hahaha" Jon said sarcastically. I looked up and down at him. He had dark brown hair but bright blue eyes. He had kind of a cubby face too. We continued walking with Tyler. He was talking about how he couldn't wait for school to get away from his parents. I had no clue what he meant, is it bad that I wanted to see what his parents were like. We arrived at school. There were kids everywhere. I walked slowly and carefully up the stairs into the school with Jon. Tyler ran off to find someone named Craig. Jon slowly walked down the hall. Some children stared but some knew who he was. I mean he wasn't hard to miss.
"This is my locker" he said stopping at locker 330. "What's yours?" He asked taking my paper. "430" he mumbled.
"That's right there" he smiled and pointed to the one across from his.
"Geez it has to be that far" I said sarcastically, he laughed and pushed me towards it. I opened it and put my books in it. We then went onward to our first classes.

It was now lunch. I had two classes with Jon and three with Tyler. I sat by Jon and Tyler as I pulled out my sandwich. "Hey guys" someone said sitting by us. They had a huge black eye and short red hair. "Hey Cra- woah what the hell?!" Tyler yelled. "What?" He asked.
"What happened to your face?" Jon asked.
"Bill" he said rolling his eyes and sitting next to Tyler who sat across from me.
"Who's this?" He asked Jon.
"This is Evan, the new neighbor" Jon said.
I shook his hand then continued to eat my lunch. I couldn't help but to wonder who bill was and if I should look out for him.

Not really a twist ending to the first chapter but still. Sorry there was a lot of •s I just wanted to skip the boring parts😁
