Tyler's POV
"Come on you have to go" I whined.
"I'm not going, partying isn't my thing" Hailey said shutting her locker.
"Come on, it'll be boring with out you. You have plenty of time to think about it, it's only Monday, the party's Friday" I said.
"Wow, how great" Hailey said.
"Pleeeease just think about it, okay?"
"Fine, only because of you though" she smiled pinching my cheek. I laughed and pushed her hand away. "So, how are you... you know, after the whole... Craig thing"
"Oh-uh-I don't know"
"How do you not know" she laughed.
"I don't know. I'm sad that I'm not able to see him out of there for a year and five months, but the other side of me is happy because he'll learn his lesson and it's harder to get jumped or hurt in Juvie" I said walking with her to class.
"I'll miss him, even though I didn't know him long" she said.
"Me too" I said as we got into class.
Marcel's POV
I skated down the rink as I dribbled the puck on the ice. I smacked it over to Luke who then back handed it to Evan as Tyler and him both passed it back and forth. I skated in between and slammed the puck into the goal. Everyone on the team cheered. My friends slapped my helmet and we all got out of the rink.
"Nice shot Michaels" Brian said taking his helmet off. "Thanks" I said pounding his fist.
Evan took off his helmet and Tyler poured water on his head as he shook his head like a dog. "Ah! Dude, you got me all wet!" I yelled.
"Wouldn't be the first time I got someone wet" Evan smirked at us. "You nasty" I said taking my gear off as him and Tyler laughed.
"Marcy, your girlfriend's here" Luke teased.
I looked over and saw my beautiful girlfriend staring at me. I waved her over as I took my skates off. She hugged me and I kissed her.
"Aweeeee" Tyler, Evan, Brian, and Luke said.
Grace blushed, "how was practice" she asked.
She was only wearing black leggings, a blue hoodie, with a bun in her hair, but still managed to look beautiful.
"Good, how was cheer?" I asked.
"Oh my gosh! Literally Stephanie dropped Lola and now she's in the hospital and I think she broke her collar bone" she laughed.
"Bitch deserved it" I laughed.
"Yeaaaah" we both said fist bumping.
"I love how Marcel gossips with his girlfriend" Tyler laughed. "I gotta go change in the locker room I'll be right back" I said kissing her.
"It's nothing I haven't seen" she smirked. All the guys, "oooooed" as we walked to the locker rooms. "She's just kidding" I said loudly so she could hear. Everyone laughed.
Jon's POV
"So what would you do here?" I asked him.
"You'd divide 12 by six and it'll equal two, so x equals two" Evan said.
"Good" I smiled.
"Okay, now onto biology" I said whipping out Evan's biology book.
"So on page one thirty two, Homeostasis is the property of a system within an organism when a variable-" I said getting cut off by Evan not paying attention and smiling and waving at someone behind me. I heard giggling, when I turned around there were two girls beside to book shelves. Once they saw me they sunk back into the row. I turned back to face Evan and started writing down some notes.
"Don't be like that" he said.
"Like what?"
"Grumpy, all I did was wave" he said.
"I'm not, I just wish you'd pay attention and stop making girls swoon over you 24/7" I said.
"Babe, all I did was wave it wasn't-hmm" he sighed. "Hey" he said grabbing my hand. I looked up at him in annoyance.
"You have my full attention now" he smiled making me smile. I then continued on with my lesson. After, Evan and I gathered our things and he gave me a piggy back ride.
"So, how've things been with your parents?" He asked. I rolled my eyes, "I've been ignoring them since". "Why?" He asked.
"Eh-I don't know, I'm just annoyed" I said resting my head on his shoulder.
"Well you should give them a chance to say their opinions" he said.
"Yeah, cause they gave you one" I scoffed. We made it in front of our houses and he let me off.
"Wanna hangout at your place?" I asked him looking at my house then up at him. He laughed, "get in there and talk to them". I groaned, "Don't you wanna just lay in your room and play video games?" I asked grabbing his hand and playfully smiling.
"Yup, that's what I'll be doing while you guys talk" he said shaking his hand out of my grip. He then started walking away.
"I hate you!" I yelled.
"You love me!" He said shutting his door laughing. I groaned and walked up the steps into my house. I opened the door to see no one there, so I slipped off my shoes, hung up my winter coat, and slipped off my winter hat. I limped over to my couch, with support of my counter, and plopped down on it. I grabbed the remote and turned on TV and laid back.
"Jon?" My Mom said behind me. I clicked pause, "yeah Mom?" I asked annoyed. My father and her sat next to me on the couch.
"We just wanted to apologize for how we acted the other day" she said. I nodded then looked at my dad. He didn't say anything.
"I hope you know that Evan was trying to get me to talk to my own parents because I was ignoring them from being so disrespectful to him in the first place" I said.
"Sweetie, I only want what's best for you. And now I think Evan is a really great guy" she said.
"Thank you Mom" I said. She kissed my head and got up and left my father and I silent on the couch. "I knew him" he said.
"Knew who?" I asked.
"His father, Evan's father" he said. I sat up and looked at him.
"Before he became a drunk, we worked together in the police force" he said.
"I never met him before" I said looking at the ground. There was silence until he spoke up.
"I was just scared that Evan would turn out like his father and become a drunk and hurt you" he said. I looked at him in the eyes and said,
"Evan will never, ever turn out like him", I then went up to my room.
