SCENE I - Enter CHORUS

CHORUS: Days are longer on the Egyptian shores,

Antinous and Hadrian escaped.

Yet fate still conquers, and Gaius implores

Lucius to destroy their future shaped.

Vibia, though locked, has taken the vow,

Loyal to Gaius, of whom she now cries,

To take a life, for Lucius she doubts,

Can do the deed for his good heart defies.

Antinous knows not of his coming fate,

Neither does Hadrian, their love the same.

When Lucius jumped on their sail so late,

He sealed the future, the wild beast tame.

But before Egypt, we first reaccess,

See Gaius reacts to Vibia's test.
