What is 'Eden'?
'Eden' follows the story of a Korean-American girl who is abducted and forced into prostitution by human traffickers. She has to agree to her captor's demands to stay alive, and we follow her on this tragic journey. It stars Jamie Chung as Eden, and we see Eden's harrowing story unfold throughout the film.
Why should you watch this film?
Now this film probably isn't for everyone, I understand that. It's a difficult subject to stomach, it's graphic and sobering, and probably not suitable for anyone under 15 maybe (although I watched this when I was 14). It really tugged at my heartstrings, and I felt every emotion Eden did.
I am a fan of dark things, so this film is right up my alley, but I know a lot of people won't like this. It stands up there with one of my favourite films of all time, and I can't actually think of a film that rivals it.
Where can you watch it?
I'm not sure if it's on Netflix but you can always check. When I watched it someone had uploaded it on YouTube in a high quality but I don't know if that's still there.
