"Next applicant, please"
Napatayo ako nang marinig ko nang marinig ko ang sinabi nung babae sa may desk. Ako na kasi yung susunod.
"Leo Blanco?" tanong sakin nitong babae na to.
"Yes"
"Goodluck, makapasa ka sana" sabi niya sakin na parang di ako makakapasa sa trabaho na to.
"May I know your name?" tanong ko sakanya, just in case makapasa ako. Yari sakin to.
"Sorry, I have a boyfriend" sabi niya sabay irap sakin.
"Luh?" gulat na sabi ko. Pinagsasabi ng babae na to? "Sorry din, di kita type." sabi ko sakanya, kapal ng mukha amp. Umalis nalang ako sa harap niya at pumasok na dun sa loob para makapag umpisa na sa interview.
Pagkapasok ko sa loob may nag-aabang saking dalawang babae at isang lalaki. Nag-bow ako sa harap nila bago ako umupo dun sa isang upuan dun sa harap nilang tatlo.
The middle age man browse my resume before looking at me in the eye.
"Why did you choose being here instead of being in your previous work?" I smiled at his question. I knew he would ask that.
"I chose being here instead of being in my previous work because I still want to gather more experiences in some different companies." I answered with full professionalism. He still looks bothered because my previous company was great. Ayoko nalang kasi talaga dun kasi naboboring na ko.
"I know that before you found this company you already heard about the rumors? What can say about that?" lumipat ang tingin ko dun sa babae na nasa kanan nung lalaki. Bingo!
"To be all honest, that is the main reason why I change company. This company interest me." I answered with all smiles.
They ask a few more related company question and I answered them all with full confident.
"Thank you, Mr. Blanco. Just wait the email. The CEO decides." the middle age man told me before standing up and shook his hand with me.
Pagkalabas ko napatingin sakin lahat ng naghihintay. I gave them all a smile maliban dun sa babae sa desk. Assuming kasi siya.

I was on my way home when my phone vibrated.
Mama calling..
I took a deep breath before answering the phone call. "Hello?" I started.
[Anak, di mo naman kailangan magtransfer dyan! You're life was great here! So wh-] I cut her off before she made a whole long speech in the phone. Sa totoo lang, dadaigin niya yung SONA ng Pilipinas pag siya nanermon.
"Ma, that's the reason. I don't like great jobs, I want challenges" ilang beses ko nang pag eexplain sakanya na di niya pa din makuha.
[Ay ewan! San ka ba nagmana!] sabi niya, sumusuko na.
"Di pa ba obvious?" sabi ko sabay tawa. "Please do pray that I'll get accepted." sabi ko pa.
[Alright, alright. Take care there, okay? Don't skip meals.] she remind me.
"Opooo" sagot ko habang tumatango na kala mo makikita niya.
[Okay, got to go. Loveyou!] sabi niya sabay baba ng tawag.
"I love you too" nakangiti kong sagot kahit di niya na maririnig.

Two days have passed and I already received an email saying I got accepted. I raised my fist out of joy then walk happily towards the kitchen to cook my own breakfast. The email said I can already start today at exact 10:00 AM.
It's still 8:30 so I won't rush. I cooked my usual breakfast which is a heavy breakfast. After I eat my breakfast I walk my way towards the bathroom and peacefully took a bath. After that I walk towards the walk-in closet then change into a formal attire.
When 9:30 AM struck I left my condo and drove myself to Luna Corp. Hindi siya kalayuan kasi ayoko ng matraffic. Nakakapikon.
"Goodmorning, Sir" bati sakin ng guard.
"Goodmorning" bati ko pabalik sabay lakad patungong elevator. Nasa email na lahat ng gagawin ko, kaya hindi ko na kailangang magtanong dun sa babaeng assuming.
Dumiretso ako sa office na nakalagay dun sa email. I was instructed to not be with the CEO. Ang weird no? Hindi ako yung type ng secretary na nasa tabi lagi ng CEO para mag instruct kung anong mga meeting niya ganon. Pabor naman sakin at sa curiosity ko.
Makikita din kita, not now but soon. I'll get to knwo if the rumors about this company is true. And with that I can already live in peace or change companies so that I can explore more. It's a win-win situation. They can get my service while I get to feed my curiosity.
