*TWENTY-THREE*

Kc looked up at Criss and told him that she loved kids...and that's how they got their conversation started...Rachel and Sandy just snickered with each other then told Johnny to come with them that they were going into town and if he wanted an ice cream cone he needed to come with them...because it would melt before they got back to give to him...Johnny asked Kc for downie...and she sat him down as he scampered over to Sandy and Rachel and took both of their hands as they headed for Costa's car. Abby stopped them and said she wanted to go too...for there was something she needed to get in town.

Costa and JD took a walk while they had their mom on speaker phone both talking to her about how well things were going and that Costa proposed to Abby and she said yes...but they weren't going to get married until they made it back to Vegas so she could be there for the wedding. JD waited for his mom to ask about Crisstopher because he knew it was coming...and then it happened, she asked if Crisstopher met anyone special yet...for her and Lynn both have been hoping for it since they left.  JD told her that nothing was for sure right yet...but they all together are trying to hook Criss up with a lovely girl...but they just met today...but they would keep her informed on what happens...and if there was anything sparked between them...but added that Johnny warmed up to her almost instantly.

Dimitra was extra cheery after hearing the news from her older two boys...and told them both to keep in touch and to hurry up and come home for she missed them all very much, then added that Chicklet was really feeling lousy missing Criss and Johnny. Costa gave her a kiss thru the phone and said he'd deliver the message to Criss, as soon as he and Kc got back from their very first walk together. Dimitra hung up with her boys and told Lynn about the slight chance that Crisstopher might be getting a new girlfriend...and that Costa was coming home with a fiance'. 

Criss and Kc were walking around barely talking, but they were doing a lot of eye contact with each other...until Criss asked her what she thought of Johnny...she looked right up at him and told him that she thought he was the most adorable boy ever and was just as sweet and charming as his daddy. Criss looked over at her and told her she was so sweet...then Criss slowly moved in and put his hand on her shoulder and moved in and gently kissed her cheek...Kc's heart fluttered when she felt his lips touch her face...and the lovely scent he carried...it made Kc want to just melt like putty between his fingers...Criss backed away and felt an electric charge pulse all thru him...and he knew he was entranced by her...but he didn't want to push too fast, so he just held out his hand and they continued to walk thru the park...holding hands and enjoying each other's company.

It wasn't until after dark when Criss and Kc came back from there very long walk together, and JD and Costa saw the magical sparks between them...but they just smiled to themselves and went to the other RV to sleep. Johnny was already tucked in with Klayton and Rachel...Sully and Sandy were sleeping in the spare camper that Banachek pulled behind the vehicle...so they could be alone...Criss walked into the RV and saw his bed was overrun with Klayton, Rachel, and Johnny...so he grabbed a blanket and two pillows and decided it was nice enough to sleep outside under the stars...Kc was sitting by the fire just staring mindlessly into the flames when Criss came over to her and asked her if she'd like to join him.

Kc slightly hesitated but slid out of the lawn chair and slowly laid down next to him...Criss rolled over on his side to face her...then she rolled slightly to meet him...then they just looked into each other's eyes for a long while...until Criss slowly moved in just a little bit closer and gently kissed the tip of her nose...and gave her a very warm smile, then opened his arms for her to crawl into. They just lay together under the stars as they talked about Criss's life, and things that he liked to do...then he switched and asked her what she liked to do, and things about her life. That's when Kc told him about her accident as a teen, and that she couldn't have children...as tears streamed down her face because ever since she was 15 years old that's all she dreamed about, was to become a mom...knowing she never could.

Criss wrapped his arms tightly around her and just held her there until she fell asleep...then he gently kissed her forehead...and fell asleep holding her. As Criss was sleeping he kept having very vivid dreams of living a wonderful life with Kc by his side...and Johnny standing in between them...they were wearing matching wedding bands. Criss woke up and noticed tears falling from his face...the dreams were so beautiful and so emotionally romantic...especially knowing the feeling of Johnny finally having a suitable mother, and he having a very lovely and beautiful wife. Criss slowly brushed the hair from her face and just watched her as she slept peacefully in his arms...but he didn't want to go back to sleep...he didn't even really want to blink...afraid that he would miss one moment with her...it was at that moment Criss finally believed in what his mother always told him...that when the right person came along...it truly was love at first sight...he kept looking at her sleeping eyes and told himself over and over again...he was so in love with this girl...then he kissed her very gently on the lips...and held her close to him as he just stared up at the sky...asking for the moment he was having to never end...until he eventually fell back to sleep...just as the sun was beginning to come up.
