"C'mon Heather, you don't even have the slightest hope?"

Evie asked me as we were sitting at her house after school.

I said, "No, I think Soda likes someone else and he only sees me as a friend."

She elbowed me and said, "C'mon the school dance is Friday two days

And you don't think he's going to ask you?"

I replied, "Not a chance."

She rolled her eyes and said, "Ughhh! Maybe I should talk to him."

She grabbed the phone attempting to call the DX for Soda.

I crossed my arms watching her, letting her call.

Because I know who's going to pick up.

She asked, "Hello? Oh hi, Stevie."

I got off of her bed and went to her bathroom to change into uniform.

Yes, that's right I work.

I am currently working at the Dingo for money towards college.

I put on my uniform smiling proudly in the mirror.

Maybe yesterday or today doesn't make sense but my future will.

I thought to myself.

I came out of the bathroom to hear her say, "Ok, bye babe."

I smiled as she asked, "Wait why did I call the DX again?"

I shrugged and replied, "I have no idea. Now come on I have to make my shift at the Dingo."

She let me drive her little stinger up to the Dingo for my shift.

I had to serve several customers which wore me out.

Until one of my favorite person comes in, yep you did NOT guess it.

It was Dallas Winston.

I gave him a smug look as he recognized me.

He said, "Hey weren't you that girl from the other night?"

I gave him a sideways smile:

I said, "Yeah, now may I take your order?"

He requested, "Yeah, I'm just trying to find something as good as you."

I rolled my eyes.

I asked, "Burger? Milkshake? Fries? Anything?"

He said, "I'll have all the above."

I took his menu from him and started working on the food.

I started humming the song that played in the car the other day:

Less then thirty minutes, his dinner was done.

As I was bringing out his meal to him, I was grabbed by the hair and taken outside.

It was clear to me, I was getting jumped.

I yelled, "Get off of me you, bastards!"

Pretty soon, I heard a voice yell, "You mess with her, you mess with me."

I knew that deep New York accent voice.

I looked over a guys shoulder to see Dally.

He picked a guy up and literally slammed him to the ground:

(Ignore the fact that it's raining it's supposed to be sunny. And also ignore the back ground)

As he helped me up, I watched as they all were chased off.

I said, "Thanks, Dal. Hard to say but that was pretty awesome."

He smiled as I hugged him.

When I released his hug, I saw Soda approaching us.

But when he saw what was going on he kind of backed away.

Oh no I thought.
