Big Drag Race Tomorrow
4:50 p.m.

I sat at the Drag Race tracks with my crutches.

What if something bad happens tomorrow?

What is Soda finds out 'The Viper' is really me?

What if worse - what if everyone finds out I'm 'The Viper' and they ban me?

I could not take it anymore I got up out of my seat as I used my crutches to walk all the way to the vehicles.

As I tried to open the car door, I failed over and over and over.

Then, I heard, "What are you doing, Heather?"

I turned around to see Soda.

I wanted to break down in tears but I couldn't, I just had to stay strong.

I said, "Soda, I want to race some."

He said, "You know you can't after what happened with your leg."

I asked, "How did you know about that?"

He said one name, "Bob."

I nodded my head as I tried furiously to open my car door.

Soda grabbed my hand and said, "Look, I know you hate being on crutches and all, but I would feel a whole lot better if you can just come and support me tomorrow."

I stopped trying and just latched onto the door.

I turned and looked at him as he asked again, "Please, will you come and support me?"

If I come as Viper I let Soda down, but if I come as Heather I let my fans down.

I looked him in the eyes and hesitantly said, "I'll think about it."

Soda kind of half smiled at me and said, "I hope you come because from now on you are my good luck charm."

Well, that didn't cheer me up at all.

I looked up at him to see he was smiling.

He put his arm back around me as he walked with me back to the stands.

Being on crutches has to be the worst phase of my life!

What should I do?

Come as Heather

Or

Come as Viper

This has to be the hardest decision I've ever had to make...

What should I do?
