First Date

Evie was helping me get ready for my date with Soda.

She even picked out my outfit which was a really cute yellow top white a white diamond shaped shirt over it:

After she was gone curling my hair, she did my make up.

I usually never wear make up only on occasions but today felt special.

As I heard the doorbell ring, Evie gave me a hug and said, "Go get 'em tiger."

I smiled as I walked downstairs, but my smile didn't last very long.

My dad was at the door.

He said, "So, SodaPOP if that's even your real name. Where are you taking my daughter?"

I pushed past him before Soda could tell and said, "Bye dad."

I reached for Soda's hand as we left my house but I could feel Evie's eyes watching me through my window upstairs.

I started the conversation and said, "Sorry about my dad, he's-"

But Soda interrupted me and said, "Don't worry about it."

I sighed relieved and smiled at him as he continued, "-you look great."

I smiled again and replied, "So, do you."

He smiled at me as I felt him grip my hand.

We kept walking and walking until I was getting tired of it.

I had to ask, "So, where are you taking me?"

He answered me by saying, "Well, were here look!"

I lifted up my head to see he had taken me to the beach.

That would explain why my $100 high heels were getting covered in sand.

The beach was awfully full of people today but it's doesn't surprise me we haven't had rain in forever.

It is a pretty hot day today.

Soda looked a me and said, "Race ya to the water."

I gave him a sly smile and said, "Your on."

We both raced down to the water and then fought over who won.

Finally I had enough, so I just tackled him down to the sand:
