I woke up to the sound of birds chirping.

It was all a dream or was it?

I looked down at my clothes and around at my surrounds.

It wasn't a dream, it's reality.

I groaned as I got up from my so called "bed".

My wrist watch started going off and on and off and on.

I looked down at it and it read, "9:05 a.m."

Oh my gosh, I'm late for work!

I quickly got up and started running towards what I thought was the Dingo.

A car was running along the sidewalk obviously following me.

Uh-oh, I knew that car it was the Shepherds.

I stopped dead in my tracks and waited to see what they wanted.

I folded my arms and watched Tim was the only to get out of the car.

I smiled when Tim approached me because we're good old friends.

It's a wonder why I get along with Greasers better then Socs my own kind.

Tim said, "Look who it is, fellas."

I said, "Hey Tim."

Tim smiled and said, "Why do you look like you slept on a park bench?"

I looked down at myself running a hand through my hair.

I answered nervously, "Because I did sleep on a park bench. My folks kicked me out."

Tim said, "Well why didn't you say so? We have a nice room rent out at Bucks you can stay in it for awhile."

I smiled and said, "What's the catch?"

Time replied, "No catch, now do you need a ride somewhere, Socs shouldn't walk the streets alone."

I nodded and said, "That would be nice. To the Dingo please."

He said, "You can ride in the passenger seat, Heather."

I got up front turning around and looking at all of his gang.

I smiled and said, "Hey Angela."

She just gave me a mean look and growled as if she were a dog.

I turned back around rolling my eyes as I watched Tim run four red lights.

I said cautiously, "Tim, slow down your gonna get a ticket!"

The good thing was he did slow down.

But the bad thing was he slowed down after he saw the fuzz was following us.

He got out of the car and I carefully did to.

The policeman asked, "Did you know you have a busted right headlight."

Tim asked, "Are you giving me a ticket for that?"

The policeman said, "Yes, I am."

I was surprised he didn't see Tim speeding through those red lights.

Tim lifted up his leg and kicked his left headlight.

I watched it shatter and glass fell to the ground.

He asked, "What about the other headlight?"

The policeman looked up at him like he had done lost his mind.

He said, "You better watch yourself before something really bad happens to you."

He threw the ticket at Tim as he got back on his motorcycle and left.

Tim just smirked at him while getting into his car as I did the same.

It was awhile until we approached the Dingo, but I'm glad I was here.

Before getting out of the car, I said, "Thanks, Tim, really."

He smiled and said, "It was nothing."

I got out of the car and hesitantly walked inside the Dingo.

As I went to put my uniform on, I noticed something.

My uniform was not there.

I watched as a girl I've never seen before walked out with my uniform on.

She just had a different name tag.

I asked my boss, "Mrs. Raymond, why is she wearing my uniform?"

She gave me a look of pity and compassion.

The manager came out and said, "Ah, Miss Sheldon."

I looked at her as she was flicking through some files.

She replied instantly, "You do realize that this is the fifth time your late?"

I said nervously, "Yes, I do."

She put her files down and looked at me saying, "We can't have someone who is constantly late."

I said, "Awww, c'mon I really need this job."

She pushed her dainty little glasses up her nose and asked, "Your a Soc why do you need this job."

I don't want anyone knowing my business, not even my boss.

I said, "Nothing."

She gave me a questioning look but shook it off.

She said firmly, "Well to my complete understanding, you are fired."

I had no words to say, so I just walked straight out of the Dingo never looking back.
