thoughts of you
ignite a spark
that bursts into a flame,
spreading throughout me,
scorching my heart
with smoke fogging my brain,
burning away every worry,
every fear,
everything
faster than any forest fire.
though i'm destroyed,
with a little time,
the forest can start growing again
with a new beginning
and turn over a new leaf.
but then you come across my mind.
and the cycle repeats.
